As others have said any non-stick will eventually start to wear. However, Vollrath is about as close as you can get to a lifetime non-stick pan.

Skookum as frig. Pick it up one time and you'll feel the difference, much heavier and more solid than other aluminum non-stick pans.

With proper care, it will last many, many years: - Never use metal utensils, only plastic or wood on the non-stick surface - Never put in the dishwasher. Nothing will stick to it - three seconds with a soapy sponge and a quick rinse, it will be completely clean - Always allow it to cool before washing, never dump cold water on a hot pan
