I bought this dehumidifier off Amazon. Certainly not the cheapest but it sucks a ton of water out of the air. I don’t as emptying it twice a day.
I placed mine in the “lung” room where I had my tent. It kept the whole house comfortable and made the air entering the tent dry. Worked great for me.
I’ve had this model for years and it’s great. Makes a huge difference in the house during the summer months.
I went with this one, I'm a few blocks away from Lake Houston in Atascocita and I run it all the time in the summer/humid days. Usually can keep house at low 50s%. You do not want your house to under 40%, as that'd cause some issues. This model can be plugged in to a drain line, but I haven't done that. ~2200sqft single story and it's a perfect machine. I, of course, got it with the extended warranty.
This was recommended to me. I bought it, I like it. They have some smaller ones too.
