This Wali mount off Amazon, nothing special. It’s solid though, I’d recommend.
WALI Dual LCD Monitor Fully Adjustable Desk Mount Stand Fits Two Screens up to 27”, 22 lbs. Weight Capacity per Arm (M002), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FQruCb5JFDNYY
Perfect! I was going to get a dual monitor mount such as this one since I dislike the look of these arms, but I've been hesitant sacrificing the ability to adjust the height of each individual monitor, so thank you for this.
Is the bottom of your portrait monitor flush with your desk then? And the arm for the landscape monitor is completely hidden?
I don't know the exact brand off the top of my head, it's a local South African brand anyways but I have no doubt that you can get an almost identical one from Amazon thats probably even better.
Its a dual monitor arm. This isnt the exact brand I have but its an extremely similar one on Amazon
I don't know if you already reached a decision or not and I didn't read what other have suggested to you but I, personally, bought this dual arm monitor stand from amazon and it has worked great I have a 28 inch and 27 inch monitor it holds them both without any issues and allows for 90 degree rotation like you were saying. High quality, easy installation, and pretty cheap compared to a lot of others I have seen on the market. Hope it helps. Her it the link:
Depending on where you are in SoCal and you want dual monitor mounts WallE has a stand for under $20 on Amazon if you have prime. There should be a 30% off coupon offered by Amazon. Might be worth saving you the headache of driving to Westminster area if you’re far.
I have the single monitor version of this but this is a carbon copy of the vivo for much less. Would recommend.
>Personally I'd have what looks like a nice big Dell Ultrasharp as my main front and centre monitor, and the LG as the secondary.
It's not exactly an Ultrasharp, it's the P2319H model. The reason I have it as the secondary for now is that it's actually an inch smaller than the 24" LG. I do like the thin bezel a lot better, though.
> Can you not raise the silver one up to be level with the right hand monitor?
Unfortunately I can't with the current monitor arm that I have. It's one of those where both monitors are stuck at the same relative height, and you can only move them both up and down together. I didn't take that into consideration when I bought it.
This is the one I have. It's simple and sturdy and has served me well. https://smile.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-M002/dp/B018MSDG84/
And, yes, the monitors are free to rotate.
You can find this same exact unit and also some very similar ones under many different brands for a LOT more money too. Microcenter sells a somewhat identical SIIG branded one (judging by the pics the fit-and-finish actually looks worse to me) for $100!
The monitor is an HPE243, It actually came from my work so nothing special. And for the stand, it's a dual monitor mount from Amazon and is so far working great. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's the cheapest WALI dual monitor mount I could find on amazon. It's honestly much higher quality than I expected for $30.
WALI Dual LCD Monitor Fully Adjustable Desk Mount Stand Fits 2 Screens up to 27 inch, 22 lbs. Weight Capacity per Arm (M002), Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qj8DEbJNYR4VB
I have this exact mount. WALI VESA MOUNT
But I would recommend spending about double for a dual arm hydraulic vesa mount. I spent as little money as I could and I regret I didn’t cough up the extra doe. Hope this helps!!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/ref=s9_acsd_simh_hd_bw_bk19B_c_x_1_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=8JXS1XRN5NYK1ZBE6A09&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=8e9fd8b4-af0f-5600-8106-2ee1c2782844&pf_rd_i... in the reviews people complain about monitors not lining up perfectly as is the case with mine. So if you don't want to deal with uneven monitors I recommend you shell out a little more money.
Maybe this? You would free up the space. Monitors rest about 4.5 inches away from the wall.
https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-Capacity/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1523728932&sr=8-19&keywords=double+monitor+stand people who have bought this tend to have problems with the monitors not matching up. However, I have not experienced this issue and for the sub $30 price range it is a great pickup.
A lot of people have mentioned $30 being the regular price on Amazon and that's true but there's an alternative to this mount for a couple dollars less that does the same job. I own it and it's suited me perfectly.
> Thanks! That is definitely next on my list of additions. I have found this one on amazon I was thinking of getting eventually. Seems like a good way to improve tabletop usage.
Mount-It quality kinda sucks. I had their triple mount for a long time and it was ass.
When I went from 3 23'' monitors to 2 27'' I got this mount https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-Capacity/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1504779828&sr=8-5&keywords=dual+monitor+mount
It's fantastic and cheap. I've never worked with an easier monitor mount.
So if i understand you properly, you're wanting to be able to switch between your two monitors and not have them fixed in a particular location.
You could use this to switch between primary and secondary monitors; they come with the wrenches you would need to tighten the joints over time as you use them. The only problems i could foresee would be that your monitor sitting in the middle of your desk would partially block the secondary monitor, and you could easily run out of desk real estate by pulling the arms forwards. Plus building that amount of cable slack into the arms without stressing the cables over time would be hard. It's the main reason i have my monitors fixed on that particular mount. This is all assuming your monitors are vesa mount compatible. Hope it helps
Something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-Optional/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1494533251&sr=8-9&keywords=monitor+mount
Just clamp it slightly to the left or right of where you would have it for when it would be in the middle and adjust the arms?
I have this one which I'm pretty sure is the same and it also came with a base if you don't want to screw into a desk.
https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-Optional/dp/B018MSDG84
Also only $29 and it supports 2 27 inch Korean monitors.
You'll want a mount that has a grommet mount (hole mount). It'll depend on the size of the hole also.
This one has both a clamp base and a grommet base, but it requires a 4" hole.
Search around and you should be able to find one.
How many monitors, what size, and what orientation? I have one that mounts to a 1./3" hole drilled in my desk (or clamps on) with 2 24" monitors. I love it, though I need to tighten it down a little more as it likes to twist slightly when I move the monitors around.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They have VESA arm mounts that attach to the desk using C-Clamps. Linked is just one example. They are fairly sturdy, from what I've seen, but might wobble just a bit more than a mount that gets drilled in, but they work pretty well for the price.
This mount is more expensive than my second monitor :/
Does anybody have any experience with something like this?
My second monitor doesn't have VESA so I would have to use this weird adapter which I don't have much confidence in.
Just curious to see if anybody has experience with or pictures of a similar set up.
Hoesntly, it's not worth the hassle. If you need an inexpensive display then, I've had good luck with this particular model used (linked below). I bought them for $41 shipped, but have seen them as low as $35. When I bought them they shipped with cables and the stands, which have pretty good elevation and tilt. For 1600 x 900 monitors they served me well in a dual monitor setup during the last year of my undergrad. They now live in a setup I built for my girlfriend that is powered by her 2013 macbook air. Link below.

Edit: it looks like you can buy that monitor without the stand for $30. At that price, I would get two, and but a dual monitor mounts off amazon for $22. Boom, $82 for a dual monitor setup, trust me, you will not regret this.
This affordable one from Amazon: LINK
This WALI Dual Desk Mount from amazon. Was worried that it wouldn't fit both a 27" monitor and a 34" ultrawide but this is the maximum the stand can go.
I got this a year ago for $15 and found it to work quite well! Looks like it's $22 now w/ coupon, which isn't terrible. Up to you if "future proofing" is worth a 150% price increase.
The monitor stand is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and the microphone arm is just a cheap, generic arm I got from Amazon.
This or this one from Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018MSDG84
I use a WALI 2 screen monitor mount/stand, I've used it for a little less than 2 years and it's been great.

I just bought this guy for my home office setup. Rock solid. I am using for 27" monitors as well.
As long as your monitor has VESA mounting holes (look for four screw holes on the back in a square shape, either 75mm or 100mm apart), pretty much any VESA dual arm should work.
If you're mounting two monitors the same size (as it sounds like you will) then this sort of thing is likely to work very well: https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-M002/dp/B018MSDG84/
Whereas if you were using dissimilar sizes, or wanted them at different heights, you'd look more at https://www.amazon.com/HUANUO-Dual-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable/dp/B07T5SY43L/
Neither arm is a specific recommendation (though both do seem to have decent reviews) - just illustrations of the type!
Here's the exact one I ordered - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018MSDG84/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_GJRMVVYBENVDAEKJ0RNG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thank you so much I want to but the cable for the speakers isn't long enough and it’s the wali dual LCD monitor arm on Amazon here’s the link :

Damnit, I bought a similar one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84) less than a week ago. Worth returning? I don't have heavy monitors that benefit from a higher weight capacity.
Most of them look the same because they are the same. Just with a different logo slapped on it.
Dual monitor version: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/
Thanks! It's just one of the cheaper ones off of amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018MSDG84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I like it so far. Super easy install. My only small complaint is that I can't put the back of the desk really close to the wall because the arms sticks out a little. It's not really a problem with the arm though. More a problem with my setup.
Not sure on the laptop part but here is am inexpensive no frills dual monitor arm. The one I use myself, in fact.
I ordered these:

waiting on the extension to show up.
No, www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Capacity-M002/dp/B018MSDG84/ is what I have. Maybe it would be clearer to say, I have a dual mount and sometimes I swing one out in front of the other. Sometimes I also power off the second monitor.
Thanks! The main monitor is the Dell U2419H, the side monitor is the Dell P2314H, and the monitor arm is from Wali.

I just bought This One myself. Its made of metal, very sturdy. Doesnt move. I think the people who complain about the monitors sagging or moving around just didnt tighten the bolts enough. You use an allen wrench to tighten/loosen key points in order to move it.
I think it does add a nice effect without the stands being there. Mine came with clips you can attatch to the arms and pole for cable management.
I like how the also provide multiple ways to mount it on your desk as well, you can clamp it (thats what i did) they also give you parts for a pre installed hole. I Would say its 100% worth it. No complaints so far.
This is the one I bought: Amazon WALI
