For its purpose, it works just as intended for me, I switch back from my Windows Workstation and my Macbook often for the monitor so it helps just keeping everything simplified.

It's a nice setup. Only issue is the desk isn't very big, so you have a lot of things fighting for desk real estate.

I read that someone suggested you get a monitor arm with a laptop tray and I suggest this as well. I use that same laptop cooler and I'm sure it'll fit on a tray like this one.

One big gripe I have with this is that the laptop stand isn't long enough for my needs. However I understand most who are looking for this setup is just looking to have the Laptop and Monitor side by side.

I got this one for $50. It’s not the easiest or smoothest to adjust, but def sturdy and straightforward to assemble. If you have the extra cash, would recommend one of the like, hydraulic lookin ones if you want to be able to move em freely.

It's solid. It works. Payed 40$. Couldn't ask for more really. Recommended. I put the t15g on it for a while so it holds heavier laptops. I tried the p71 but it was just too wide and big for the stand (still held it up though).

It also comes with another mount for 2 monitors if you don't want the laptop portion, but if you didn't want the laptop portion idk why you'd buy this one.

It's a cheap monitor stand from Amazon I need to rework my desk.

Maybe build something out with pipes? Build a pipe frame around the recliner - something like this and use poles to mount keyboard/mouse tray and monitor, maybe by bying something like this and only using the articulating arms.
