If you have a gas burner woks or Dutch ovens are a step below deep fryer. Second recommendation is to use some of that powder that turns the oil into a gelatin like substance so you can just toss it in the trash.

Noo I got here too late to save you all! The correct answer is to use Japanese oil hardener. It's a flaky powder that you mix in with oil while it's still somewhat hot, and it'll solidify it all into a single sheet a hard jello. It then easily slides into the trash and leaves the pan behind almost entirely clean (just needs a light rinse). I'm surprised it hasn't made it here to the US, but you can get it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088LWBK26/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_QR5PNEJK6E8KZH6B5VEY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use this stuff from Japan: Waste Cooking Oil Powder (pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088LWBK26/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YFA9CHAZ6BAMVRNTCXAJ
You stir it into the hot oil when you are finished cooking and then let it cool down completely. Leaves you with a solid oil block you can throw in the garbage
I use this cool technique for cleaning frying oil and get at least 3 or 4 uses out of it.

As for disposal, I bought some Japanese powder from Amazon that will gel your used oil into a more solid mass so you can pick it up and drop it in the trash. Haven't used it yet so not sure how well it works, but if it's as easy to use as I hope I'll probably always have some on hand.
100% this product solves your problem
Use solidifying powder like this. It only costs a few bucks. You add the powder and ten minutes later you can scrape the whole solidified piece of oil into the garbage.
