IU received this Givenchy Watch from my Grandmother in 1997 or so - she bought it in the carribean - and I don't know anything else about it (style/model etc)
I don't think its that expensive of a watch, maybe like $200 or so... but it has a lot of sentimental value to me.
I am not a watch person, so I never wear it, and the battery has been long dead. However, I just got a new batter for it and I needed a way to open the back-plate so I got this ridiculous watch kit on Amazon for $17 - This thing is amazing, and I cant believe it was only $17... so for any of you watch people out there, I highly recommend you grab one of these (I am not affiliated or in any way gaining from this suggestion, only just telling you watch people that you should definitely have one of these sorts of things in your library)

Anyway - Looking forward to having this little guy ticking again....

i am just starting to dig in into watches and i wanted a cheap kit just to get started but no so cheap and weak that at the first screw it just start to fall apart. I found these on amazon:
This one seems good. Actual decent screwdriver. Better case clamp than most and a 3 point caseback tool, decent looking tweezers, decent looking block. It has assorted other stuff but that's the main stuff. watch tool kit
