This is also on Amazon for those wondering. The white one is $94.99+$9.99 Shipping though.
Same price as on amazon. Might not be as good of a deal as newegg would have you believe.
cant be any worse than these that where the cheap dxracer alternatives that where everywhere on amazon a year or 2 ago. this at least has better head and lumbar support if nothing else. not saying i would buy it myself but it seems to at lease be somewhat better
How tough was it not to buy the scorpion version?
After some digging I think I may have found the chair or at least one that is similar. Here is the link: [link]
Also, OP I love your set up! I’m curious about
how comfortable the chair actually is? And how close you are to total world domination? Lol
These chairs from amazon fit your style and budget and they seem to have pretty good reviews.
Nah, not around here. There's an Aeron in my city for $175. DXRacers are 200+ for their cheapest and 400+ for their most expensive chairs. Here's a DXracer knockoff on amazon.
I can say the chair itself is super comfy. But not $500 comfy. lol.
The $100 ones off amazon are worth.
This is the chair shown in the pic. This one is worth imo.
Unfortunately just my chair from the office. a basic cushy office chair but friends have recommended this to me
Homall Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair Leather Desk Chair Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair with Headrest and Lumbar Support (White) [link]
I actually got it at work bc they were throwing stuff away. It was covered in dust and I swindled our manager out of it saying it was trash lol
I haven't had this for very long but I enjoy it and with Amazon Prime is only $110. I wasn't going to spend over $150 on a "gaming" chair and this seems like a deal to me.
OFM Essentials racing style chair from Amazon:
It's been a very comfortable and nice chair for the few months I have owned it and reasonably priced too.
You can get it for less on Amazon
If you insist on getting this style of chair, save yourself some money: [link] or even cheaper: [link]
They're all the same.
I e actually been thinking of using this in one of those gaming recliners. Something like one of these Scorpion Gaming chair
I feel like laying straight down would be disorienting but I could settle for being halfway down
It’s ok. I just didn’t want you to think I was, so I wanted to explain myself.
This one currently has a $50 digital coupon with it. It has an office look and game chair feel. It also uses a class 4 gas strut and has a 12 month warranty. Even with coupon it’s still around $200.
This worked for me. It's slightly over $100 but you can adjust the lumbar support and my back and neck feels pretty good at the computer. The only drawback is the armrests are plastic not something soft, so there's that to consider. Good luck!

I recommend looking up "gaming chair" on amazon. While most gaming chairs seem to be tailored for a male body, I'm not sure if that's the case. Look at any pink chair and compare it to the "masculine" chairs - they often have the exact same shape and features. This is the one I ended up going with this one and I've had it for 2+ years now with no damage or degradation.
I picked up the highest rating ergonomic chair on Amazon when it was on sale, trying to deal with the frequent back pain, neck pain, and butt numbness from extended sessions on home PC using folding chairs and cheap, adjustable office chairs with additional back cushions and back brace things that only mildly helped. I've been surprising satisfied with the purchase, and rarely have any back/butt/neck issues due to my PC sessions.
At the time it didn't have the moderately gaudy "S-Racer" text on either the cushions or the top of the chair itself, and it was marketed more as an office chair than a gaming chair. One gripe for the model/version I did get is sturdiness on the arm supports. They can't handle much weight and the sides of the cushioning on one of them broke open (still usable) within a year of heavy use, which might well be a problem with the user, rather than the product.

I was on computers for a long time and noticed I was developing a hunch hovering over a keyboard and looking down at the monitor. The trick is to get them high enough to keep your head at a healthy orientation, but not too high. Articulated monitor arms makes adjustments a snap. I wish the setup was more photogenic. There was someone that developed a commercial system called a Scorpion Chair (https://www.amazon.com/Imperator-Scorpion-Gaming-Computer-Office/dp/B08HYRNJCH) My chair is probably more comfy, but this is based on the same concept of monitors up high with controls on articulated arms
Alguien ha traido una de estas sillas a Venezuela? Quiero traer esa, pero sacando cuentas el envio son como $80. No quiero pagar en envio casi lo mismo que cuesta la silla.

This might just be a personal preference thing, but I'd recommend against getting it. Staples has a bunch of office chairs to choose from, so I'd recommend going there and testing them out if you want to get one from them.
The only reason I got it was because it was cheap (website says like 40% off and I had a coupon code). Besides the clicking sound sitting on it gets uncomfortable after around 3 hours for me.
If lumbar support isn't a deal breaker for you and you don't mind a leather chair, I used this chair for 4+ years and the arm rests only recently started to tear a little bit.
This ought to help.
Actually kinda cheap when you consider it's motorized and stuff. Not saying nearly $4K is cheap, just not impossibly expensive for a crazy command center.
There are cheaper models as well for like $2800

I've purchased this chair two months ago. It is pretty comfortable. Arm height is ok, they don't adjust. Butt cushion is so so. It's ok for the first hour or two but after that hurts the tail bone a bit. I'm 5'9 280lbs. Lumbar pillow is pointless, but neck pillow is great.
Best price for performance out there. If you can afford more I would recommend doing so though.
I have done some research and the GTRACING Gaming Chair looks quite good, people say it holds quite well and is really comfortable for. I saw some people saying they did 14-17 hours for a week and it was perfect.
I just bought a cheap $100 BestofficePC gaming chair for $100. It's really comfortable and they pillow actually works.
Just fish around for gaming chairs on Amazon. I've seen at least a few streamers using this.
I got mine off Amazon, but this was also a while ago. Here's one I found and it's actually the Amazon Choice: [link]
You can search "Gaming Chair" in Amazon and you'll get tons of results.
Amazon for $95. I'm actually pretty surprised at the quality and it only took about 20 minutes to put together. My only complaint about it is the arms don't adjust up and down, but aside from that I really like it.
Homall Gaming Chair
I believe I purchased a similar one from Amazon. Garbage.

The chair I got for $150 on the clearance section at Office Depot that's been falling apart is STILL more comfortable than this piece of garbage
You should get this: https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic-Adjustable/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=T6LJYABCMG96&dchild=1&keywords=gtracing+gaming+chair&qid=1602998290&sprefix=gtracing+%2Caps%2C233&sr=8-4-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzRE5JV0MxWDhPNDdUJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjczNTkwMzhLTFhQNjJRMTRZTiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMDgxMTkyMzBJVUNYN0IwWlFOUSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
The chair was on sale for $99 when we ordered them. We removed the armrests due to lack of space. I actually think it makes them look better.
Of course! So the gaming chairs are the Amazon special ([link]). I see them on this subreddit all the time. We decided to remove the armrests because the corner desks are a little tight.
It’s a comfortable chair. Lumbar support pillow is decent, and it reclines more than you could possibly need. I’d recommend—as far as budget gaming chairs go.
The chairs in the lower right of the picture are actually part of a dining room set from Ashley Furniture. They are super comfortable, but cannot recline.
The armrests on my chair are removable, but where would I get a different pair? They just screw onto my chair with two 3-4 inch screws each.
This is what I have currently:
We have no office stores near where I live so we had to order our chairs online.
I have this one: [link]
It’s not a bad chair. I like it because I can adjust the arms up and down depending on what I’m doing and I can lay back in it if I want to. My only real complaint is that it creaks when I lean in it sometimes. I might just try taking the cover off and spray some cooking spray on the spring to fix that issue but I haven’t yet.
My boyfriend got this one: [link]
I use it sometimes and the padding seems to be more squishy than mine (not in a bad way) and it seems to roll a bit better than mine does on carpet. You can also flip the arms up and completely out of the way, which for us comes in handy because it makes it easier for the cats to jump up on our laps.
Honestly both of the chairs we got are great budget friendly options and both are very comfortable. Sorry I couldn’t share in store options you could try before buying but I figured I’d share links to the chairs we got anyway so you could have a look.
This is $9 over your budget, but might fit the bill
There is a gaming chair thats about 150 bucks that i like, and i have a Corsair void pro rgb wireless that’s amazing
I bought the GEN 2 of this for ~$90 when it was on sale. Most comfortable chair I ever sat in. Had it for a year now. Budget friendly, reliable, and looks amazing.
These are really good and below £200
The chair is from Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/GTRACING-Ergonomic-Backrest-Adjustment-Computer/dp/B01N2RJ0HI/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=gaming+chair&qid=1601667706&sr=8-6
I don't know where the OP got theirs, but I got mine on Amazon. I have the red and black version myself (I tend to prefer darker colors over pink) and is a pretty decent price. Here's a listing for the one I got but the other colors should be easily found if you just look for GT Racing Chair: https://www.amazon.com/GTRACING-Ergonomic-Backrest-Adjustment-Computer/dp/B01N2RJ0HI/ref=pd_lpo_196_t_1/147-6992192-6032241?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01N2RJ0HI&pd_rd_r=64fa6a96-6a45-4e67-8fee-fe604e30b319&pd_rd_w=k1PmA&pd_rd_wg=Rjtjw&pf_rd_p=7b36d496-f366-4631-94d3-61b87b52511b&pf_rd_r=KQB5Z0SXYRR3VS3ZVX3P&psc=1&refRID=KQB5Z0SXYRR3VS3ZVX3P
It looks like an amazon gaming chair for under $100. I bought one and hated it. It has padding everywhere except for your butt.
from amazon here! they don't have the color i have but they frequently restock! although for a lot more than their other colors :(
i got it on amazon for around $240 which was honestly higher than i would have liked but i just.. needed a pink chair.... it's here but they currently don't have pink, but they restock pretty often so if you're set on it i would just check back!
Hey guys, currently researching THIS same chair on amazon, I noticed they have a discount but only one color.
Should I skip then or take the the risk? I noticed the website is down too, or don't exist anymore, I'm thinking they close it down due to the pandemic? idk...
what did you go with instead? Its so hard to find something that's comfortable, good price, and looks decent.
Regular price on amazon is 150
I do not play Warzome, sorry!
I ended up with this one. I do like it, but there were a couple equally priced that I liked better. When I was looking, Amazon was out of a lot of chairs, and I didn't really want to wait to see if others were going to be back in stock soon.
The S racer on Amazon is pretty comfortable honestly. I like it so much for gaming I bought a second for my WFH office and it’s great
Homall Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair PU Leather Desk Chair PC Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair with Headrest and Lumbar Support (White) [link]
My GF bought the exact chair on Amazon for a little cheaper. Great chair.
https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic-Adjustable/dp/B01MRZ02TL this was really great, but a bit expensive. The reviews on Amazon weren't actually all that good, but I thought it was so comfortable and helped my back problems a little. The only problem is that it is a little small, so if you say you are tall, that might not quite work. (I am only 5'7'') . I am just saying if you can afford it, gaming chairs are quite good for your back and comfortable.
It's $120 on Amazon if you're interested
So calling a chair "gaming" in web search will likely lead you to way over priced chairs. I would highly suggest looking around on Amazon. Find one you like that has a bunch of reviews. I bought one for roughly $90 before tax and I love it, I bought a $20 memory foam pad for it as the seat cushion was a little lacking but it's well made and has every feature you'd look for. So $110~$120 I got a chair other companies charge $300+ for. Homall Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair PU Leather Desk Chair PC Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair with Headrest and Lumbar Support (White) [link] this is the one I bought. Hope im allowed to link this.
Amazon , it’s also on amazon, in case you don’t like shipping from Walmart
Nope - it’s a gtracing chair. 3,700+ reviews on Amazon and only $140 or so.

Cheaper on Amazon with 5% discount
It's so comfy. If you're looking for a chair that's still a gaming chair, but that doesn't look like that I would suggest something like this maybe?
Bought this on Amazon back in January and it was worth every penny. I've never been so comfortable sitting up before. The supports are amazing and encourage good posture as well.

You are going to receive comments about how bad and gimmicky cheap racing gaming chairs are. It is up to you. If this is your budget and what you want, here is a great chair.
Makes a pretty good mid level chair, should fit most requirements well enough and has quite a few color options. Also Amazon friendly
Never had a "gaming chair" before but I like it and it was somewhat affordable. I paid $89 at Amazon when I got it but it looks like it's a little more right now - $114.99
I did, but their chairs are too pricey for me. I was looking into getting something like this.
Nice! Can you feel the transducers enough through all the cushioning? I have an XRocker Gaming chair and it's pretty uncomfortable, but it came with a sub and transducer built in. I tried putting a cushion insert on it and, while it somewhat improved comfort, most of the tactile feedback went away. :(
Get a chair with loblar support and good reviews.
I bought the gaming chair Hommal that is one of those race car style chairs with lombar support and neck pillow. Resembles IKEA brand.
It was around 115 bucks.
I have used it for a whole year every day for several hours and I can tell you now that it os by far the best chair ive used for desks / computers etc. And ive been using office chairs in the 100-200 dollar range.
Get something like mine or get a premium one. They seem to be trending but the utillity of them is great. Never has my back felt so good!
Homall Gaming Chair Racing Style High-Back PU Leather Office Chair Computer Desk Chair Executive and Ergonomic Style Swivel Chair with Headrest and Lumbar Support (White) [link]
its decent. got it as a Christmas gift this year.
Personally I went from a super nice plush leather executive chair to this.
Wasn't an upgrade.
It's a $90 gaming chair and as such it's not amazing but it is definitely good.
STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH!!!
A nice chair helps too
With gaming chairs, the big brands like DXRacer, GTRacing, and AKRacing can shoot you as high as $500. I recommend a GTRacing chair for bang for buck, but if you're just trying to get a cheap comfy gaming chair, amazon has some for <$80.
Just bought one recently with your exact criteria off amazon. Took me like 20 minutes to assemble and is super comfortable for the price.
This looks pretty similar but is cheaper and still gets good reviews!
But I do not own it so I can’t actually vouch for it
This is what I was thinking. I'm 6'1 or so, I think it would work but I don't know for sure. If I may, what would the negatives be to me having a desk where it would be too high for my legs?
I was on a swivel stool for a bit but it wasn't comfortable enough for long play sessions.
Now I bounce between using these two:
I use this one in semi standing mode. It swivels, bounces a bit (shock absorption) , goes up and down easily and doesn't get in my way. It works well for active games while still letting me rest my legs.
This one is more comfortable and I could sit in it for hours, but it's not great for very active games as it's too bulky and restrictive of your movements. But it does swivel and gets the job done. There are cheaper places to buy it than Amazon, too.
Disclaimer : I use a TPCast wireless so I am a rotating fool when I play. But my gf uses the Autonomous still with my 2nd Vive, which is wired, and she doesn't have a problem.
Overall, I'm very happy with these purchases.
i just got this and it feels like im falling off the chair [link]
Yes, it's the Homall Gaming Chair. This one
I bought this for $99 like two weeks ago and it does thiiiiiiiiiiiiis. It's like half the reason I bought it.
If anyone's confused about what I mean, here's an example: This chair, and this chair. You'll find at least 20 more brands with that same chair template, with materials and small details changed. I also noticed this when I was buying a gym bag recently.
I'm looking to purchase a new chair for long, everyday use. I came across this on Amazon and the reviews and answered questions seem promising given my requirements for now.
If anyone has this chair and can give some anecdotal evidence I would appreciate it!
There are $100 ones all over the place on Amazon. I have one and I am totally fine with it, I can't imagine what a chair could do different to justify 2-4x the price. It's the Homall one specifically, but they're probably all the same chair with a different logo in that price range.
edit: forgot to mention, the armrests are weirdly kicked out to the side (I think they didn't bend it enough during manufacturing), but it's an easy fix with some M8 or 5/16" metal or nylon washers from a hardware store. Just put a few washers between the arm rest tubing and the seat on the bolt closest to the middle of the chair and it will angle the arm rests further inward into a better spot.
I got This one about 5 months ago and it's still a very comfortable chair with no damages on it yet. Affordable and decent quality.
This one will break the sound barrier but not the bank. No personal experience with "gaming" chairs but it has good reviews.
I just got this chair a few weeks ago. I didn't want to shell out a lot of money on a chair, but for $65 I am really liking it. It actually looks better in person, too. The picture doesn't really do it justice.
thisll be a good standard chair to compare others to.
