Use a Anti Friction Dry PTFE I use the one by WD40 WD-40 WD-40 44395A Specialist, Anti Friction Dry PTFE Lubricant with Smart Straw, Non-Stick Resists Dust, Dirt & Oil, 400ml https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006UCJ4Z4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_VBM6FbKXFGQ71?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for the tip. Any reason this wouldn't work? Cant get the same as the video in Europe and the closet seems to be the spray applicator.
A dry PTFE is probably best as it will prevent most fluff and dust sticking to the rails and cloghing up joints etc. WD40 make a good one. Here it is at Amazon but you can get it pretty easily elsewhere. A little goes a long way too.

Good advice on wd 40. While i was looking for the graphite you mentioned on Amazon, i saw this one from wd40. Any experience / knowledge of this one? WD-40 Specialist Dry Lubricant with PTFE 400ml https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B006UCJ4Z4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7tI5DbP78A26B
It used to be a woodshop but it's hardly ever used anymore. How often is "regularely"? I'm guessing that it depends on how much you print?
I read that you should get one with PTFE and saw that the store I ordered the printer from has the WD-40 type (this). Is that any good?
Sorry, stupid question: Any reason why you don't recommend an oil?
Might try the sanding of the build plate since it has a few scratches. Might help (I’d need to check if the bits that don’t print align with the scratches). For the lube, which brand do you use? There’s some WD-40 anti friction dry PTFE on Amazon: WD-40 Specialist, Anti Friction Dry PTFE Lubricant with Smart Straw, Non-Stick Resists Dust, Dirt & Oil, 400ml https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006UCJ4Z4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NAoEFbVG8WHF6
It's safe for plastic since it created a PTFE film, which is plastic, and has been rated for use with plastic, and you can read on the bottle that it says it's for use with plastic, which for some reason is different on the US bottle. People have used it before me, and said it's safe for the X-55 with this, and other PTFE dry lubricant sprays.
It doesn't clump up, cause it dries into a film (it's very runny for a while though), if in doubt, you can always smear silicone grease. I didn't use graphite powder because I tried it before on plastics, and it created a lot of odd resistance in spring and sliding mechanisms. They didn't squeak, but it made things move a low slower.
Would this be good?
Your welcome and no don't use normal WD-40 buy some WD-40 dry PTFE spray it's different stuff say's specialist! I mean you can try it but I think I did at first then switched to the better one, i also buy elegoo fep 2.0 as the saturn is same size but fep 2.0 is definitely better than standard stuff!
