I've had good luck with them! I own two sets. The lid clamps are a bit annoying (two bent pieces of metal per jar, which are standalone), but I just keep them all in a plastic tub with a locking lid so I don't lose them. I went through a jar phase & tried multiple jars & ended up really liking those Weck Mini Tulip jars. Off the top of my head, I've tried these small jars so far:
When I was learning how to make yogurt (IP + SV + Brod & Taylor), I tested out a variety of lids as well, starting with Oui's lids:
Those were junk (no sealing capabilities). Then I found some stretchy silicone lids that fit both the Weck & Oui jars:
Only downside is that they're stupid expensive (over $4 each, shipped). That, and I'm still trying to figure out the perfect jar sizes for things like single-serving desserts. I ordered myself a set of the 6oz Kamota jars for Christmas, which I think will be the perfect quantity:
The nice thing about the APO is I don't have to worry about getting stuff like silicone lids anymore because it's not necessary to have a jar lid that is capable of going underwater & there's no risk of the jar cracking due to built-up air-bubble pressure! So it's a lot more convenient now haha.
I love doing stuff in mini jars:
Non-SV items:
I like to eat against my macros & finish my day out with dessert every day, so a little jar of ridiculously delicious goodness is A+ in my book lol!
