This is the smallest and lightest 1 person tent I could find at a budget price. Under $100 and weighs less than 3 lbs. It's not perfect, but it's been pretty good to me. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01MG00CYM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_65Q8QSS5F25G74STAF0H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I usually hammock Camp, however as that is not always an option, I just bought this tent and although I've only used it once, it worked well and didn't cost a fortune. TENT
I bought the green and a buddy bought the grey and his was a little different and taller, would have preferred his version had I known.
I went with the Winterial Single Person bivy and really like it, $100 and just over 3lb:

These things work pretty well. A friend of mine has had one for 3+ years and uses it quite regularly. They can pack really small but the materials aren't the lightest.
