I do it myself. Due to ground clearance, I don't even jack up the car.

I did my first change at 3k and another at 6k. I prefer to do them every 3k miles, since it's so easy and cheap. I pay more to fill the gas tank than to change the oil haha

What you'll need:

*Oil drain pan * Shop towels * Disposable gloves * Wheel chocks * 5q 0W20 Synthetic (I use Mobile 1, but it doesn't matter a ton) * 1 oil filter * Cardboard to cover for spills * Optional: floor mat, tarp, or roller (I use a mat) * Optional: oil filter wrench

Here are the steps I take:

• Chock the wheels
• Pop the hood.
• Loosen/Remove Oil fill cap
• Get under car and remove drain plug
• Let oil drain into pan. I use one similar to the link above.
• Remove oil filter. (You may need an oil wrench for the first time, as my filter was on insanely tight. After that it should be hand tight.)
• Oil up the filter gasket, and install filter
• Put drain plug back in. Torque to spec (don't over tighten)
• Put funnel in oil fill tube. Fill with 4.7q of synthetic
• Check level.
• Add oil as needed
• Replace oil fill cap and close hood.
• Remove wheel chocks and you're done.

Id also recommend keeping all your receipts for warranty purposes. It is a pretty simple process, and after you've done it once it gets way easier.
