My 6 month puppy is a terror with water lol and I’ve tried so so many things. This is what I’m using right now It’s not a perfect solution but it’s helping. Some of the other ones said the floating center would fill with water eventually through a crack in the plastic and then sink, but this one comes apart for cleaning and emptying.

It does mostly keep him from gulping huge mouthfuls of water and just traveling with it dripping all around the entire house. There’s still some dripping but it’s less. I also have the bowl in a dishpan, which stopped bozo baby from digging in it.

Oh my gosh, mine had never learned to drink nicely 🤣 but as a puppy we got a bowl that had a floating disk in it and he couldn’t put his whole face in the bowl. It worked for a few months till he got smart and realized he could just push the disk down and put his whole face in. They make a super fancy expensive one if it really bothers you but we just have a gross floor all the time. Here are the links to similar bowls.

Immediately throws all the water of the dish yay water!!

Attempts to solve this:

-put a heavier crock on a boot tray to catch excess water, and he grabbed the boot tray with his teeth and dumped it over.

• got a larger ‘no spill’ dish, and he paddled the water out with his paws.

-filled a tall feeder bowl with water and he head-butted it like a damn goat until it dumped over

-attached a clamped dish high on the outside wall of his crate, and he banged against the crate repeatedly to get the water to splash out.

-got this no spill dish from amazon , and he couldn’t paddle the water out, so he just pushed it around and harassed it until it flipped.

-got this slow feeder dish that’s really wide and short that he can’t dump or paddle the water out of, but he finds it very frustrating to drink water from :(

-and now I’m back to the no-spill dish from amazon, that sitting inside a dish pan with a no-slide bottom, and then that on a tray in a small tiled entry where there’s not enough room to really head-butt it easily.

So that’s mostly working for now, but this has all been harder on my other dog so I’m making sure to offer her extra water several times a day in a separate room. I really hope he grows out of this (otherwise he’s a perfect little angel lol!)

Ooh check this out! I just ordered one of these to see if it's worth a shot. It's a bowl that has a floating part in the middle to slow down their drinking. It only allows a little water to come up at a time when they apply pressure. Here's a couple different brands
