If you absolutely want to have it with you, I would say wear as a necklace- different from OTF but physicians I work with do that when they do surgeries and it works well. Only thing is the possibility of having it dangle when we do certain workouts (push ups, etc.)
Another alternative, which I actually do and have seen others do, is purchase a silicone ring. If you don’t care for brand, they could be very inexpensive- I bought these silicone bands from Amazon and they work well! They haven’t interferes with rowing/weight floor.
Then of course, if you’re 100% okay with not having one with you- leave at home :)
