Oh I know about this one!!
I’ve had scorpions in my house!! (Never thought I’d be excited to say that lol)
When I first bought my house, it was like I moved into the bug’s house.
For $40, some company came and sprayed and I haven’t seen a bug since.
I learned that scorpions are repelled by cedar. I took a chance and bought this somewhat expensive spray on amazon: Wondercide Ready-to-Use Natural Outdoor Pest Control Spray - 32oz | Kills and Repels 100s of Insects https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074HZHPD9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dNRyAbZGFA5HJ
I guess it depends if you think $35 is expensive but I did lol.
Anyway every thing I did was organic and I no longer see any bugs or scorpions.
In order to really get rid of them, you do need a professional to come spray for them. Particularly because you clearly have (had) a massive infestation. They try to get you to get your house treated once a month but I just spray the outside perimeter of the foundation about once a week, or as often as I remember. But also keep in mind, I live in Arizona at the base of a mountain so I’m basically in the scorpions territory instead of the other way around.
As far as mulch replacements, some people use rubber mulch? I have no experience with it. Scorpions on the other hand, I’m rid of those!
I hope this helps. Scorpions are scary as shit, ugly as sin and hard to get rid of
I haven’t used this exact product, but they’re all pretty similar I’d guess.
Turns out cedar oil is the primary effective ingredient.
