I JUST said this to a friend as I lived here for a few years thru 2015 and recently moved back, excited to avoid stuff like this in a city neighborhood. My friend in landscaping recommended spraying cedar oil and linked me to this product as safe for people, pets and plants. Haven’t tried yet (on order) but it’s not too pricey, environmentally conscious and easy to use so here’s to trying!
Wondercide - Flea and Tick Spray Concentrate for Yard and Garden with Natural Essential Oils – Kill, Control, Prevent, Fleas, Ticks, Mosquitoes and Insects - Safe for Pets, Plants, Kids - 16 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V7BRZQI?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_ct_W6C43ATRG4A2QE0EVM88.
I use Wondercide and don’t really have issues. It’s basically just cedar wood oil. I just use a quarter of a bottle diluted with water in one of those gallon pump sprayers on my small city yard monthly. Great results last summer.
