Actually. I have. I have the WoW cookbook and have Ogri'la chicken fingers have became a family favorite. I have added milk to the batter, and more seasonings to the panko, added a bit more cook time and Viola. My family loves it.

Not all of them, like the World of Warcraft Cookbook has truly original recipes that are actually in the game. Obviously some of the meats are substituted since things like Shovel Tusk Worms don't exist, but they substitute it with actually feasibly obtainable meat like beef, turkey, chicken, sausage etc.
I have actually incorporated some of these recipes into me and my wife's monthly food planning. The 2nd book is a bit lacking, but I was still able to adopt a few recipes from it.
If they like to cook then I definitely recommend getting them the WoW cookbook

I've got the World of Warcraft cookbook and the Game of Thrones cookbook from the same author, and I highly recommend. She's also done a Hearthstone cookbook and a Shire(Hobbit food) cookbook that I've got on my wishlist. Looking forward to adding this one to the collection!

Do they cook? The World of Warcraft Cookbook is really good. I've made a few things from mine and they're pretty high quality. Tracker snacks, crusty flatbread, and Ogri'la Chicken Fingers are my go-tos.
Are they a lore nut? Like, do they talk about the story? There's a series of books called World of Warcraft Chronicle which is pretty neat.
And yeah, as the other guy mentioned, there are gift cards available. You can probably find one at somewhere like a 7-11 or a Best Buy.
