Okay, I will tell you something you don't want to hear, because I didn't want to hear it after I got done with a F ****** trilogy: If you didn't write with a specific market in mind and make sure to have the specific tropes said market wants, your work, no matter how good it could be, is most likely not going to sell, at least not until you've gained a following.
So yeah, tough, I know. Go back to the drawing board with the intention of writing a book to sell to market and when you aren't writing, study up on marketing, taxes, and everything else it takes to be a success. Later, after you get a following, you can publish other stuff because you'll have a built in fanbase, but until then, stick to writing to market and for profit while learning the biz. That's what I'm doing write now.
This is a good book on the subject https://www.amazon.com/Write-Market-Deliver-Faster-Smarter/dp/1548220396
But still, keep at it and good luck! It is more than doable if you are willing to put the work in.
