too bad xenoblade has a "world" version now, that edition is selling for half the price of the original but is not separated out from searches/values

You can get a New copy here for $43 right now. http://www.amazon.com/XenoBlade-Chronicles-Pc/dp/B007RNWUC4 It list it as a U.A.E., Saudia Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore product but someone on /r/Xenoblade_Chronicles compared the data on the disk to the North American release and they are the same exact disk.

I saw this a few days ago and I was super confused. Thought it was the PAL or japanese version but it had the T on the cover instead of the pegi 12+ so I figured maybe amazon just used the wrong image. 1) The whole story relation thing is kind of blurry right now, since Los Angeles exists in X's story, but Chronicles didn't take place on Earth. If you want to learn the story, check out Chuggaaconroy's ongoing Let's Play. It'll explain the whole story.

2)X is a sequel, as far as we know. There are certain things that are directly related, and some that are completely unrelated.

3) Chronicles is great, but I would wait for it to be released on N3DS. Wii version goes for ~$100 on Amazon.

4)I'd wager there'll be no amiibo support. Have fun!

You could get the Wii physical version if you have that. It's not nearly as expensive as it used to be because of the ports, and Amazon has it for $35 right now.

It's scheduled to come out on the eshop at some point, at least according to Wikipedia. God knows when though. At the very least, you can now find it on Amazon for an affordable price. It may not be the most reasonable for a 2.5 year old game, but at least it's not going for $200 anymore.

Uh what are you talking about? It's $60 on Amazon as well and there were reprints of the game recently being passed around.

Price has lowered considerably recently New or Used - http://www.amazon.com/XenoBlade-Chronicles-Pc/dp/B007RNWUC4 this is a reprint of the US release. Currently $44 for a New Copy.
