Got the desk (table top) and the legs from Ikea, thanks to covid the shipping cost me more than the legs and table top combined. Got the spectre 32" ultrawide on sale on Amazon during black Friday. Went with this chair but I couldn't get it in the photo without showing the mess of cables underneath the desk. Highly recommend the chair, much better than I had hoped it would be.
I'm 5'9 and a size 20. I've found gaming chairs to be wildly uncomfortable. My friend has one and she added a bunch of pads and things to it to make it tolerable. In January I had to replace the 14 year old office deflated chair I've been using. (I was having all kinds of back issues and leg numbness/swelling when sitting in it for a few hours.) I got an ergonomic chair with lumbar support and awesome roller blade wheels. It took a day to adjust to but man, it's been great ever since! No more back issues, and no more numb swelling legs. I highly recommend it. XUER Ergonomic Office Chair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QG4PZQS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_X069VRRG25JTET7A1YHM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If you don't want to spend $1k on a Herman Millet like 100s of people are gonna regurgitate at you over and over (not saying they are bad options, it's just a stupidly unreasonable rec for most people) I got this one off of amazon and it's been great for over a year now. It has good construction, supports me at ~220lbs very well, lots of adjustability in the height and supports, and customer service has been great for me so far. 8 months after they sent me a new armrest after one of mine developed a tear in it. All I sent was a picture with the request and they sent me a new one at no cost within a week.

I used to have a gaming chair, it was less than adequate and nothing else, looked cool though. It eventually broke, even though I could replace the part that broke for fairly cheap, I decided it wasn't really all that comfortable to spend more money on it, so I bought this chair instead...

and oh wow, what a huge difference in comfort that made. This new chair of mine I absolutely love it, way more comfortable.
I have this chair and the arms are far enough back that it's comfortable for me to sit cross legged in https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QG4PZQS/ref=sspa\_dk\_detail\_3
It looks like a xuer which u can buy brand new for about 225$
looks pretty similar to my new chair which came in today https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QG4PZQS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I saw a few people suggest quality office chairs over car seats during the fad and pulled the trigger on this one after amazon suspiciously suggested it over option b
I looked into many office chairs and opted for one with neck support on Amazon for $180. I would have spent $1000 on something more high end if times weren't so unpredictable.Office Chair with Neck Support It does the job. I also needed adjustable arms.
