ahh, worth a shot haha!
anyway, i'm not sure exactly what they'd be worth but i'd have easily paid $50-$100 for them.
the "yaheetech" stands on amazon look super similar and they're going for ~$160 brand new.
good luck!
Not quite a squat rack. Something like these. I admit, they are rather bulky and you may look like a knob bringing them into your work gym. But if you're looking to heavy back squat, you'll need something like these.
No problem, I'll just drop some quick recommendations in case you choose to go this route:
I bought these squat stands and this bench. Doesn't look like either is available at the moment but there should be similar quality stuff in a similar price range. Stands (as opposed to a rack) and a foldable bench were crucial since it's the only way to make the setup compact enough when not in use.
For a barbell, I'd say get the first good barbell you can find on the internet. Generally, /r/homegym is good for researching quality of equipment.
Plates are the real challenge. Hard to trackdown and surprisingly expensive. My only rec here is to keep on checking craigslist and Facebook marketplace in your area until something turns up.
Best of luck figuring out a workout plan whatever you decide to do!
Well, you'd have to modify the program a bit. You can do floor presses with the barbell like one of the comments recommends in that post instead of the dumbbell press. For squats you could do barbell hack squats or even front squats with whatever weight you can get into position.
If you were able to add a squat stand like THIS and a bench like THIS you'd have a pretty decent gym- Might be a little over your budget but just throwing out some options if you decide to save up.
If you can find a set like THIS in stock somewhere that would be the cheapest place to start, but I don't see anything available at the moment. Lots of weight for the money if you can find it though.
I can but I'm partial to it all coming from Amazon as I got some unused gift card amounts that are helping significantly with the cost.
Would the squat rack work as a good double for a bench press rack? Like I can put the bar on the squat rack or do I need a bench press specific rack?
The greyskull lp variation includes dumbbell curls and chin up... Already got pull up bar but I totally see your point and how it would be better. The 100lb barbell is gonna maybe last me a month before I gotta buy again :/. The 300lb set is beautiful, any recommendations that are on Amazon?. (I looked for that set you linked and it's not selling on Amazon?)
I'm thinking I could get one adjustable dumbbell of max 52lb, the bench, the squat rack, the barbell set (preferably 200lb set and the carpet cuz apartment is all carpet... I think that I'll put me in a good position. If not I can just stick with my order and make it work with the alternative equipment.
Yeah for sure. I'll edit the actual Q but here's the Amazon link to it.
Portable squat rack I have now, (plus a cheap fitness realty bench from Walmart : https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01855EGXI/
The two budget cages I was deciding between until I realized I don't have space for them: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N4I8FOY/ and https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07FBDVJN5/
I can’t attest to quality, but reviews seem decent enough. If you’re only gonna do like 80lbs, shouldn’t be a problem.

Seems decent too. Independent so more adjustable and easy to store
Hi all,
Due to having limiting spaces for the next several months, I can only get a pair of independent squat stands.
Should I just get the Yaheetech pairs for the next few months? Not sure how reliable it is. https://www.amazon.com/Yaheetech-Adjustable-Standard-Portable-Dumbbell/dp/B01855EGXI/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=squat+stand&qid=1605887310&sr=8-5
Or should I just spend some extra and get the Yes4All stands instead? This one has spotter arms, can do dips, but almost $100 more with tax. https://www.amazon.com/Yes4All-Multi-Function-Barbell-Squat-Rack/dp/B08CDFX43F/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=yes4all&qid=1605887501&sr=8-8
Not sure if getting the Yes4All stands are worth it since I only use it for about 6 months until I get a full rack or proper squat stand.
Not sure i understand the question.
I use a squat stand with spotter arms and a flat bench.
If you want to go cheap, I have these squat stands and they're okay. No spotter arms and feel unstable with heavy weight, but they're only $100
They'll go high enough for your front squat, you won't need to clean it from the floor.

> not sure I want to commit to the home gym post covid. The bar itself will come in handy regardless for when I'm busy and need to bang out something quick at home instead of the gym.
This is how it all starts my friend.
Nice job with your fitness journey so far! I put together my home gym back in April and absolutely love it. I dont have to wait to use the bench, squat rack or any of the weights because it's just me. Also it saves me the monthly payments for the gym, even if I did splurge a little with buying the equipment.
I dont have a ton of space, I just bought a bench and 300lb Olympic barbell set from dicks. The squat rack/stands I bought off of amazon. It's cheap, but it holds up to 450lbs so it works for me.
The bench I bought is: http://e.dickssportinggoods.com/T/v400000169445afea0b5af2cf4bbcfcf98/4dfe44de9c65470c0000021ef3a0bcc7/4dfe44de-9c65-470c-bd20-ffe10c2603c0

Hope this helps!
I work long hours so decided to build a small gym and also save me the membership cost. Got the powerblock dumbbells used on craigslist, expandable up to 90lbs. Everything else new and cheap off amazon/walmart.

https://www.amazon.com/Yaheetech-Adjustable-Standard-Portable-Dumbbell/dp/B01855EGXI/ you've also seen these on amazon that are basically the same thing right?
I was looking into something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01855EGXI/?coliid=I3TBU4R3PAFGKW&colid=3AGNSU3WLIK7C&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
