Go for a pro audio manufacturer rather than a gamer brand. Sennheiser, Shure, Audio-Technica, AKG, Yamaha, if any of those sell a headset in your price range it's bound to be decent. Maybe this from Yamaha?
Or put an Antlion ModMic onto your headphones of choice
I love my Yamaha CM500. It was highly recommended to me by a couple of OM. Price is pretty reasonable too.
Edited to add: They work very well on my Yaesu 857D and some of the Elecraft rigs I played with.

All you need is an adapter cable for using a computer headset on your radio.
The Yamaha CM500 headset is very well known as a really good quality headset.

I bought some Yamaha CM500s for about $60 USD (£39.90).
Here on Amazon you can get them for $55 USD (£36.59)
I loved them for about a year until they aux broke (Ironically plugging it into a device it came with, which I didn't entirely know what it was). The audio is great and the mic is nothing short of a massive deal. I've never had anyone over an audio call or video game say that it's not good enough or that I was too far away from it.
It feels great, too. I have a rather large head and it fits perfectly and the padding is amazing. Only possible downside, really, is that they don't look "swag" or "on point" etc.
TL;DR: Yamaha CM500's are great and you should feel great, too.
