You’re so very welcome! In this chaotic time we’re in, I think it’s important to do what we can to help each other no matter how big or small. I’m so glad that was the one, my two fur-kids have 4 of these catnip bananas because they loved their first one to destruction.
Anything that comes in a box. Mines been attacking one all day. I think the original was Cosmic, but I know the one cat loves something if she puts a found sock or her banana in it.
THIS! Never failed my kitties or anyones I know of. Regardless of winning or not this is a must have. It’s just too damn cute too see a cat go crazy over a banana. Your kitty will love this! (Man i should be in retail 😂)

I haven’t tried this myself, but I’ve seen people say their cats won’t play with any toys besides Yeowww! catnip bananas. For some reason they go crazy for it
When we first adopted our cat, he had some pretty severe food aggression. For the first two years of his life, whoever had him was neglectful, and while he was friendly from likely having lived in a home with people early on, they threw him out in a courtyard with a colony and he essentially lived on the street. Food was a scarcity, so when he was adopted by us he didn’t realize he would be eating on a very regular schedule.
He was very sweet and would rub on our legs and meow when we were getting his dish to fill it, but in a split second would bite and claw our legs. It kept happening for months - not only was it painful but also shocking. When we turned to him to react it was clear he felt bad, and would go and hide until we could coax him out with his food.
In my research to figure out why he was doing it and how to get him to stop, I finally read something that suggested, when he did it, to stop, put down the empty dish, and then walk away. Don’t look at him or talk to him at all. Act as though you don’t have a cat at all. And stay like this for 20-30 minutes.
It only took a few tries and it worked. He also has calmed down considerably as he has aged, which is something your Kitty might do.
One other suggestion I have is using catnip toys. My cat loves to play with a wand/chaser toy or a little ball, but sometimes he just needs to beat the crap out of something too lol. I bought a toy for him that looks like this, and have since been through several of them because he takes about 15 minutes to pummel it and is quite happy afterwards. So maybe he just needs to get some teenage angst out of his system lol.
I had a blind kitty. You wouldn't have known it though. As long as you didn't move the furniture, he did fine. It will take her a little bit to learn her way around. Her age might mean it takes her a little longer but she'll get there. If she likes catnip, give her some of that. My cats go nuts for Yeoww toys, especially the banana and rainbow. Get her steps for the bed if you don't have them already. I got toys that had a rattle in them, things that made noise. My blind boy's favorite was an octopus.

try cat nip, often times it will entice him to get his own energy out :)

My cat actually likes his belly rubbed lightly when he's sleepy, sometimes it even makes him purr, but he will also go insane-o on the turn of a dime and try to bunny kick your hand.
I've gotten good at sensing when he's about go nuts and tossing one of his catnip stuffed toys at his stomach, He then attacks the hell out of that instead and seems happy. We're learning together.

He's had this since he was a kitten and still loves it more than any other toy we buy him. Have to get him a few per year because he loves to bite and shred into it until the catnip spills, but it's honestly worth it.
It's like his stuffed animal, he takes it with him to bed. He gets annoyed if it's not next to him while he's laying down. I've seen many dogs carry around a toy with them wherever they go, but never a cat. This little dude is weird, but special and oh my god I'm writing way too much about my cat. I just love him. He's such a good boy.
