The Firefly 8SE is close to $300 on Amazon, looking for something a little bit cheaper if possible. $100-$200 ideally.
I found this on Amazon for the Xiaomi Yi - https://www.amazon.ca/YI-Action-Sports-Camera-Control/dp/B01FU9ZIMU/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=Xiaomi+Yi&qid=1564248482&s=electronics&sr=1-8
It looks like a good camera for it’s price, it just doesn’t seem to come with an underwater housing. I’m sure you can buy it separate as well. Is this the camera you were talking about?
If you're not looking to save footage but instead just want a record of what happened in case there's an incident, you don't really need stabilization, and in fact you might want to turn that off if the camera does have it in that case for a wider field of view.
As for what to buy on a budget, I was really impressed with the quality of this and the price was only about $100 USD. That said, it shares the GoPro's short battery life, so ... add an external battery.
Yi 4k! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FU9ZIMU Cheaper than when I bought it right now too!
edit: at the bottom of the page it shows "Frequently purchased together" extra batteries and accessory kit. I actually picked that up and am super happy with everything.
Yeah, if you're just getting into it, I'd say the GoPro is a good choice. Nice and light, can capture the scenery in beautiful spots thanks to the super wide angle, plus they can do timelapses (I think, never actually tried that feature), cool POV stuff, etc.
Plus if in the future you decide you want to upgrade to a DSLR, the GoPro will still be useful. I have this thing (GoPro knockoff, but it's actually quite good IMO) and I use it for POV action stuff, and also as a "B-camera" for some shoots so that I can get two angles of the same thing.
There's that yi 4k camera, which if I had to buy again I would go for... https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Camera-Night-Black/dp/B01FU9ZIMU/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1495209104&sr=1-3&keywords=yi+4k It's 200 bucks USD. I currently use a hero 5
I've really enjoyed my Yi 4K action camera. It is very similar to a GoPro, but I think image quality is better and the price is cheaper.
I've got a Contour Roam as well, which I like as a helmet cam because I'm a terrible, vain creature and think conventional action cams stuck to the top of helmets look awfully silly.
If you're less vain -- or if you can find a Contour Roam at a reasonable price point, or you want better video quality more than you want to look cool -- I'd also recommend a Yi 4K (presently $170 on Amazon, but you'll probably want a ~$15 - $40 waterproof housing, and also some way to mount it). I've got one that I've mounted under my handlebars (in addition to wearing the Contour on my helmet) and I'm very impressed by it. It's got a removable battery, too, and you can get extra batteries real cheap.
One final option, if you're inclined to the action cam form factor but don't want to shell out $170 for a Yi 4k (or even more for a GoPro or what-have-you) is the recently-announced and very well-reviewed Yi Discovery, which as far as I can tell (though I don't own one, so no guarantees) is more-or-less the same thing as the Yi 4k, sans the mostly-useless image stabilization feature and with slightly slower frame rates (4k @ 20fps, 1080p60), but it's only $60, which is a steal. It uses the same batteries and other accessories as Yi 4k.
EDIT Also: r/bikecammers is a good place to ask for advice on this stuff.
You can get the Xiami Mi 4K for $250 on Amazon:
I currently use a “Yi 4K” action camera to shoot my videos. It is most comparable to a GoPro Hero 7.
It can shoot at 60 frames per second @ 1080 resolution, with digital image stabilization enabled.
You can pick one up for about $130 though you’ll need something to protect and mount with.
I use a cheap water proof case mounted to my mask
Look for real 4k cams based on Ambarella A12 processors. Something like the Yi 4k is a good option (available on Amazon just note it doesn't come with waterproof case or accessories.
There's also the Yi 4k+ (Amazon Link)[https://www.amazon.com/YI-Sports-Action-Resolution-Control/dp/B01CW4AZ4M/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1513619996&sr=1-3&keywords=yi+4k+plus&linkCode=ll1&tag=drekitech-20&linkId=2ced356f2ca4c390abb90bf2184c8b78] which is capable of 4k 60FPS and syabilized 4k 30FPS.
There's a ton of fake 4k cams out there so don't buy anything unless it explicitly states what sensor and processor it is based on. Don't trust reviews on anything, and it's generally a good idea to buy somewhere with a good return policy.
You have a lot of page editing and cleaning up to do. This site doesn't really have any aura of trustworthiness
Change your returns page, the default Shopify page is still up.
The text in your logo is too small and hard to read.
Ugh, gmail email address. Use your domain.
Re:
You don't have a product description for a $311 camera. That default displays as ships from Russia. I'm pretty sure Americans don't think too highly of Russians. Plus, I found it on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Sports-Camera-Control/dp/B01FU9ZIMU . If you're trying to sell a $300 item, customers will shop around. You're not a specialist camera store - don't punch outside your weight.
Those scarcity timers really only work for dumb people stuff like fashion and avocado slicers. Someone shopping for electronic gear isn't that silly.
Re:
You need to explain the product fully, features and benefits. Delete the one option Color drop down. Explain to the customer the options available ("packs")
Re:
WHY IS THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION WRITTEN ENTIRELY IN CAPITAL LETTERS?
You only ship to the USA however that has the default plug option as AU (Australia). Odds on the customer will order it and then chuck a shit about the odd plug.

That'll do from me. Overall, you will need to get someone with a better grasp of English to review your spelling and grammar.
You will need to fill out your product categories.

I use a Yi 4k for my front camera!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FU9ZIMU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uTtICbMN3X43K
I use it in 1080p@60fps most of the time but it can do 2.7k@60fps or 4k@30fps, it has decent low light, decent image stabilization, and about an hour and a half battery life. I use a 128GB microSD card in it, which records about four and a half hours before needing to be emptied.
Batteries are cheap:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX7NF9X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YWtICb4FSQX80
I have about eight batteries that I cycle through to minimize cold weather damage.
I also use a Yi Lite for my back camera - if you have the funds for both, highly recommend getting a rear facing camera since 40% of cyclist fatalities are rear-endings. The Yi Lite also uses the same batteries as the 4k, which is handy.

Try this on for size. 4k, $200. Pretty slick deal.
Definitely way more competition now. Check out the Xiaomi Yi Camera with a waterproof case. It's basically a straight up Chinese version at a generous discount.
I personally have the HTC Re which isn't so much waterproof, but can be submerged for brief periods, but that's probably not what you had in mind.
For more traditional cameras, Sony makes a line of waterproof cameras. A friend of mine has an older one of those that we took rafting in Colorado with and it performed very well.
I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on the yi 4k..
https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Camera-Night-Black/dp/B01FU9ZIMU
Yi 4k is $250 and is similar spec'd to the Hero4 Black but half the price. You could also look at the GoPro Sessions, solid option for $200.
You get what you pay for with action cameras. Chinese knock-off? Expect knock-off quality. The Yi 4k is the only one that breaks the mold of that AFAIK.
Check this one out, in comparison it has better video.
Yup he's right. Here's a link to amazon, https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Camera-Night-Black/dp/B01FU9ZIMU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1467602030&sr=8-2&keywords=yi+technology+action+camera.
