haven't tried that one. I bought this on a friends recommendation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWMI07S/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
On a side note, whats the real difference between this and the 3 coil version aside from the extra coil. If I can solve this charging problem I will keep this phone for another year. I love it.
Odd... maybe it's just me but my Samsung charger I got with my Note 5 is harder to use than this generic one I got off Amazon. The Samsung one is picky about the phone being perfectly placed and will randomly stop charging it part-way through the recharge cycle.
I have this one, not the cheapest and not the most expensive and works great for charging. Only problem I have is the charging LED is crazy bright so I put a piece of tape over it so at night when I'm charging my phone it doesn't act like a night light lol. Does NOT come with a wallplug, just a cable.
The sweet spot is slightly offset for the phone but again, it works great.
Just get a wireless charger for like $15. It's not as fast as the plugin Samsung charger but it's convenient.
Here is what I got, works just as well as the official Samsung wireless charger but costs much less:
Really? Does that depend on the circuit of the qi dock itself or does it depend on whatever the item being charged is rated for? If the latter, great -- no worries whatsoever when I use any dock and any adapter (since the current is set by the watch). If the former, semi-great, no worries when I use the qi dock and any adapter, at least (since the current is set by the dock).
However, like I mentioned, I have two other 3rd party wireless charging docks that I use -- one on my desk at my office, one at my desk at home -- along with the motorola qi that I keep on my nightstand. One of them is 1A and the other was purchased somewhere around two years ago by my company and I can neither find it nor remember the name/brand/amp rating of it.
Thanks for the info, great to know! I'm still wondering though about the pitfalls of using a higher current charger for the watch than it's coupled qi charger uses. If I was only charging my watch with them, I would just ensure that I have .5A power supplies on them all but, alas, I also charge my phone on them and I'm apt to switch between devices and docks multiple times per day.
I just bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWMI07S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 a couple of weeks ago and have been kicking myself for not buying it sooner. For some reason my phone wouldn't charge 50% of the time when plugged in via micro USB so I bought a wireless charger to remedy that. Charges pretty quickly and doesn't cause my phone to heat up that much.
I picked up a few of these:
Yootech® Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad for Samsung Galaxy S6,Gal... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NWMI07S/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_b9Eyvb0Z6DK9W
They're good for the price but finicky about positioning the n6 exactly right.
This one is $11 and has 4,700 mostly positive reviews on Amazon. Listed as a best seller

I'm not sure about how the software works for batteries. But wireless chargers are less than $10 on Amazon so if you want to try it's not super expensive!
I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NWMI07S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ejsKyb4QDW868
I got one for $10 on amazon, worth it
I'm gonna try out this method, but I don't like those X holders. I think I'm gonna try this spring loaded one from RAM Mounts. Grabs it on all 4 sides, and seems to have enough space underneath to glue in the Qi Charger.
This holder, plus this pivot which will mount into my dash, this Qi charger, ~~and this wiring~~.
Overall, much cheaper (and grips the phone better) than the solution I was going to use.
Edit: I think I'll use the ram mount wiring instead, it comes with an inline fuse.

I have two of these, charges the S6 and Note 5 with no problem.
The triangle one works like a champ. Link. Good price, solid reviews, popular.
I've had a lot of success with this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NWMI07S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
