I use a magnet dashboard holder, have done for years on several Samsung phones, never had an issue. The magnet is on the dashboard, and a little metal disc with a sticky back is attached to my phone case, was £6 from Amazon. I love it. Maybe if the magnet part was continually attached to the phone it may cause issues, but I've never had a problem

I can put the plate you posted on top of the charging coil (inside of my case) and then I dont lose the wireless charging function but can still put it onto a magnetic car mount like this?

I’ve got a Speck phone case which is great, I’ve got an iPhone but I imagine the Samsung ones are just as good. It doesn’t have a stand but I suggest you pair it with this. (or similar car phone mount) as it works as a stand if you attach it and rest it on a surface and it’s really great when you’re jumping in and out of different vehicles.

Get a car play/Android auto head unit. Bang up to date in one go.

If this is out of budget, I wouldn't go for a windscreen mount... They're a bit shit and tend to fall off at very inconvenient times.

I go for the YOSH magnetic phone holder and place it in the middle air vent, but I’d recommend getting a phone case with a metal ring on the back just to give it that extra strength.
