First of all, I'm sorry that you've been what you've been through. But just to defend - I wasn't talking about clinical depression (which I said). PTSD goes in that as well. Your situation isn't what I'm talking about at all.
I'm talking about people who feel down in general ... which is 100% of the population from time to time. Depressed is also an emotional state that you can most definitely change from moment to moment. And yes, if someone gives it enough time and attention to empower themselves & stop being a slave to it, they will.
Many people get depressed because they're living the grind day in day out, they aren't taking care of themselves & they're unhappy because they feel like a slave to the system. That's who I'm talking to. I don't know if you're in that category or not - if you aren't, then this video doesn't apply to you.
Check out the book 'Breaking The Habit Of Being Yourself' by Dr Joe Dispenza. He's a Neuroscientist and has done cutting edge research on helping people with everything from MS to Brain Injuries to PTSD. I didn't pluck this information out of my butt just to piss people off, the genetics thing was a bit weak but it just came out. But here's more info https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UV2A6VK?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
I've been studying, helping other people & working on myself for 10 years after massive issues with drugs, self esteem, social anxiety, bullying, being molested as a kid etc. And I may come across as condescending because I got sick of my own bullshit lies and lack of motivation that was holding me back.
So I'm direct because I want to get to the point with people so it wakes them up enough to motivate them to move forward. And some people don't like me or my approach because it activates them.
I'm cool with that. I know I'm not for everyone & it goes with the territory.
In regards to the blog spam thing, cheers for the heads up. I think being used to FB, Twitter, LinkedIn etc I thought this was the same. But going by the 77 upvotes (which I didn't do because I have no idea how), I did help some people. So in future I'll be mindful of the whole 'self promotion' thing when on here.
Hope you have a good day :)
