Hardest lesson in life I’ve learned is people can only help themselves. You can give best advice in world but it’s up to the individual to act on them. Giving national crisis hotline number is great in my mind as you can’t be available 24x7 . Doing activities together you both like (hiking, picnic, fishing ) whatever . Including family if you have any thoughts she might be suicidal. Another thing is learning to listen , there’s insight in the book below that really helps in situations like this and I’d recommend reading it . (Granted I believe you’re a great listener already!) Also encouragement to seek counseling or find one’s foundation (helping others in our own unique way )
