I kept getting neckpain because I'm a side sleeper with fairly wide shoulders so even when I stacked pillows up my neck was just at a bad angle, and I got real bad whiplash a couple years ago and it still get stuff and achy quite easily. https://www.amazon.com/ZAMAT-Odorless-Adjustable-Ergonomic-Orthopedic/dp/B08LL76DPG/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=side+sleeper+pillow&qid=1617729425&sr=8-8 got one of these (assuming you're in US) and it's been amazing for it! No more neck pain at all so far, I just put one more fairly thick and softer pillow on top because the one I linked is very firm.
