This isn’t the exact model, probably don’t make mine anymore but it is this style and looks just like it. The ones with the outer frame like that keep it nice and sturdy

The Zinus frame is very good value. I'm using this one and have had no complaints with it. Easy to assemble and has lasted, well, four mattresses.

Plywood was the fix. Also if you don't need a foundation, then get rid of it...
