GTX 1050ti Mini $180 preorder on amazon If you can wait a little maybe you can find a 1060 3gb at this price.
or a used 970. Go on /r/hardwareswap
Ah yea that would explain it. It's a Zotac 1050Ti Mini. Looks like the HDMI port is 2.0b which says (1080p HD Video), though it displays in 4K fine at 30hz.....
https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO
Luckily I got it for $90 so not a huge loss.
For reference this is what I ordered off amazon in 2016, Zotac GTX 1050Ti Mini
Thanks for your response! Is the gpu you listed the only one that is powered 100% through the motherboard? For example this gpu https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO claims to not need any external power.
I'm thinking about just buying a new PSU but I'm just trying to see all of my options. Thanks again!
I currently have a 750 TI and happened upon this 1050 TI on sale. Is that a good deal and how much of an upgrade would that be?
What generation i5 is it? If you don't have a dedicated Graphics card and 4gb of ram you're kinda restricted to running some low-end games like Cs:go and some older titles. Some older titles I recommend is the Half-life series and Just Cause 1. If you want to get into more suriously into PC gaming I suggest upgrading your RAM to 8gb. If possible you should look into getting a dedicated graphics card. Theres this Zotac for on amazon for 169$ https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1531046768&sr=1-5&keywords=gtx+1050+ti
I think something like a GTX 1050ti would be a better option. Most of them draw power from the PCI-E slot and don't require too much, like 75 watts. Something like this Zotac mini would be perfect for 1080p and a mini ITX system.
Thanks man, you are right, did not realize how hard it is to find the old CPUs :(
On another note, just saw this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MCU1ERO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1&tag=mpptbm8aqyadc9e-20
I think i will probably settle with 1050 Ti because this is such a good price
Would this be a good equivalent to the Nvidia GTX 1050 ti?
Would this be a good equivalent to the Nvidia GTX 1050 ti
You could get a 1050ti from Amazon for relatively cheap which should give you quite a boost.
I just swapped from one to a 1060SC, I ran CSGO at max and Overwatch on High no prob.
Also you can use a Powershell command (if that's your bag) to unlock your CPU subprocessor and give you a bit of a performance boost
It's also here at Amazon for $130, just in case shipping puts you over that mark from OP
GTX 1050 ti.. zotac GTX 1050 ti would be available in your locale too.. for online shops you have amazon or mdcomputers
Do check local stores, it might be even cheaper
Computer: Prebuilt Ideacentre 300

Description of Problem: I'm having trouble deciding which 1050ti I should buy. This mini Zotac seemed good since my case isn't huge, but can someone quickly run down all the differences in the variations of the 1050ti? And if anything, should I wait for prices to drop if they will? I see a bunch of talk of 20% price drops this month and was just wondering if I should just wait a bit.
Also, I need help picking out a PSU. People have told me that a 450W PSU is good to go, but would a 350W do the trick? I'm gonna have to get a 24 pin to 10 pin adapter as well since Lenovo mobos have 10 pin connectors for some odd reason. I'm also still learning a lot of the basics of pc building/upgrading so any other advice is greatly welcomed. Thanks!

My PC has been dead for over a year now. I really want to fix/upgrade it, not sure if it's the right time though. Won't be buying a Graphics card definitely because I am still seeing 2-3x pricies in India. I have a few questions:
That was quite the wall of text... Thank you for your help.
It depends on the seller. The cooler on the EVGA 1050ti may be too big, whereas another brand might be the right size. The board is the same, but the cooler is different. I would go by all of the following brands, and find the smallest: Asus, MSI, NVIDIA, GIGABYTE, and EVGA. The seller that has the smallest card is probably the best one to get, but even the smallest one might not fit, but it has the best chance.

You can get a video card that is shorter than other like this one:
This one probably won't case you any problems. If you could get this for cheaper, that is better. Graphics card prices are SO high right now. You could look on eBay for a used ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini. If you go there though, I would be very cautious. If they are being sold for around $80, they might be a scam, and I wouldn't risk it. Even though there are scammers, there are still good cards on eBay.

But if you can go pick one of these up from somewhere that is best. Especially if it is new, but $400 is too much for what it is.

Just remember, if you need help, I am here. :)

Got it. I looked around and from what I learned it seems like the R7 would run you about $170 used and the i5 about $90 new. If you were looking to get newer components at the same price, I would highly recommend this Zotac 1050 ti ($169.99 @ Amazon) and a Ryzen 3 2200G ($99.00 @ Amazon). Shouldn't change your budget all that much and will give you way better performance for your money. As a bonus, you'll also be able to get everything new.

You shouldn't have any trouble adding a GTX 1050TI and running it with your 430w power supply. You'll be held back by your CPU but a dedicated GPU like the 1050TI is about 4 times faster than the graphics built in to your A10-7700k. What games are you wanting to play though? That's a very weak CPU and it's going to struggle with newer games. But here's the card I would recommend in your situation. https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=gtx+1050ti&qid=1550195760&s=gateway&sr=8-2
Also if you want your system to feel a lot faster, clone your windows install onto an SSD. You can easily power your current hard drive and an SSD together. Here's a decent SSD https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX500-500GB-NAND-Internal/dp/B0784SLQM6/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=ssd+240gb&qid=1550196168&s=gateway&sr=8-15
I can upload one when I get back tonight. But I just checked the site, it says no additional power required. It's the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mini, 4GB GDDR5 DisplayPort 128-bit Gaming Graphic Card: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MCU1ERO/?coliid=IK4RZD5CNQ2IF&colid=WR91D42EOQK5&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
I'm about to get a couple things to upgrade my gpu and psu and would like if you guys could just check them out:

The 1050ti is perfect for my setup as I have a prebuilt Lenovo so the case is not very large and I could have potential heating issues. I'm leaning towards the mini, but is there any reason to get another variation? Also, is there any reason to believe the price of the 1050ti's will lower in the coming months? I know higher end gpu's may lower in price because of newer gpus like the 1180 releasing, but do they have an effect on lower to mid tier gpus like the 1050ti?
I also need a 24pin to 10pin converter because for some god awful reason Lenovo mobos have 10 pin connectors. Thanks in advance!

It says Mini- Tower. I found a https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MCU1ERO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AVCN3MVCVULPH&psc=1 where a few people said the PC works with this watt draw.
Probably around 1050Ti range. 60+ FPS on Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, and Sims 4. Here is a draft of part list. Thinking about getting a cheap (under $150) monitor today and maybe pull the trigger on this 1050Ti
You need a new motherboard but with a limited budget youre somewhat hindered. I would get a used 8320 from ebay/amazon then get this gpu
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MCU1ERO/?tag=pcpapi-20
That will put you at about 240.
Depending on what you used the computer for you might be better off with something else. Is this for office use? Gaming? Some other software?
You're better off finding a used prebuilt and putting a nice GPU in it. Take this Dell Optiplex for example. It comes with a nice CPU, HDD, RAM and already has Windows installed. All you need to put in it is a GPU, like the GTX 1050 Ti and maybe an SSD if it fancies you. Then you have a gaming machine that can play just about everything at medium-high for around $300-350.
I just looked up eBay real quick and clicked on the first thing. You can probably find something similar for a lot cheaper with deeper searching. Also check your local classified listings. Most companies/recyclers are usually eager to get rid of them quickly which gives you negotiating power.

Your CPU might be a bottleneck in some games but you can always carry over the card to a newer PC if you upgrade.
I meant something like this, but thanks anyway! (not /s)
If you can spare an extra 30 bucks for a gtx 1050Ti, I person would get the msi
Yeah. The 1050ti is the weakest card you should probably even buy. https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1503102132&sr=1-3&keywords=1050ti

Looks like its out of stock. How does this one look? https://www.amazon.ca/GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-Graphic-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1499801414&sr=1-1&keywords=zotac%2B1050%2Bti&th=1
I've got a Zotac GTX 1050 Ti Mini, if you're interested.
Same one listed here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=twister_B01M3U7DDB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Sadly for some reason there are almost no availability of 1050Ti's here. And the ones available are almost at the price of the 1060 3GB.
The RX 470 Nitro+ is at the same price than the MSI RX 480 I linked lol.
[edit]
Just checked, the cheapest 1050 Ti 4GB is this ZOTAC one and I can get it for about 236 dollars... quite the difference compared to US amazon. I can get it by around 180 in US amazon WTF.
this one isnt slighty better? is just a bit more expensive. But is the 1050 Ti really worth? I've read quite some bad reviews about it.
Easy! Get yourself a GTX 1070 (Any company is fine, except for EVGA) If you are going to game on new titles. Unless you play MOBAS and FPS such as CS:GO, then go for a GTX 1060 or the 1050 TI.
Here, i'll give you links to the graphic cards mentioned above 1050 TI 1060 1070
Now unfortonatley, you are going to have to higher your budget for the 1070 if you really do some hardcore game. But for you, since you only do game, I recommend the 1060.
The 1050 Ti is $139
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_zv1jybCS6B1PT
Thank you! What about this gpu? It's cheaper. Are mini GPUs worse than the normal ones?
Only play Dota 2, League, and Counter Strike GO? > GTX 1050 Ti
Want to play anything else like Battlefield 1, Doom, Titanfall 2 at 1080p? > GTX 1060 3GB
Is This The one you're talking about?
Bruh I’m talking about a prebuilt pc. Just slap in https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01MCU1ERO/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1535919649&sr=1-4&keywords=1050
Since the power supply is OEM and not powerful enough to run a high power video card at only 300w, I'd opt in for a low power card like the 1050ti.
Order through amazon, if the game still isn't playable by your standards Amazon has a great return policy. I'd also recommend getting a solid state drive and cloning your current hard drive to it so you can have the benefits of that.
Honestly though you can build a pretty great system for $650-$750 if you just save up a little more which is what I'd recommend.
Edit: something like this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/y4npqk for example
Since your PC is based around an Intel CPU, I'd recommend the GTX 1050 ($109) or 1050 Ti ($139). This Zotac GPU should work just fine for Astroneer, considering my old GTX 660 pulls 60 FPS (at least in a new game)
