Also, based on the pictures, it looks like a "clone" or rebadge of this Commercial Chef dehydrator, which people in the reviews have used a lot for drying filament:

Same basic specs (104F to 158F temperature knob, same shape/style, etc)
One of the best deals(IMHO):

Seems expensive for an off brand Chinese clone. Why not jus buy a Prusa mini for $349 usd?
https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printers/994-original-prusa-mini.html
If you need a Chinese printer get an Ender 3 for (comgrow, via Amazon) for $226 usd:

Filament is about $15-45 per, roll depending on brand and the tools are, usually included in for free.
Except calipers, that might be an extra $10.
Why do I care? Because this is NOT a 3d printing deal...
This is,just someone's advertisement and I hope the mods follow up appropriately.
I think the kingroon kp3s is a better deal 180mm^3, linear rail on x and y, and direct drive. Usually around 150-170 on AliExpress and between 160-180 shipped from the us.

Review: https://youtu.be/CmCbFIYH_fg
I actually have an unopened 7.5 pound container of the blue beads. I checked the label and they do contain 0.005%cobalt chloride. It's still in the return time frame. I'll check the label on the orange to green and probably return the (more expensive) blue.
I've printed a lot of those Thinigverse containers in clear PETG. If you cook them a little too hot they melt. I learned that the hard way...
Now I use these bags that hold up well in the oven. And they are very quick to make. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KHXETUG
https://www.amazon.com/SUNLU-Printer-Filament-Dimensional-Accuracy/dp/B087JL6SNS#customerReviews looks like reviews are a little...meh
It's a good deal, but there are better ones if you are willing to wait. I have gotten clear as cheap as $8-$10 for a single roll. If you don't mind a 3 pack you can get the Dikale PETG Clear for about $11-$12 per KG. ($35 with a discount for 3Kg). I DO recommend dikale, I have used about 40 spools and they have come out very good for me.

I've seen where coupons are targeted and not everyone sees them before, but never with promo codes like this. If you add that and the white PLA to cart (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q188PC7) and then enter this promo code during checkout (WPLDTVG2), it still doesn't show a discount?

Yeah, I believe it's true of most glow in the dark filaments. Good thing nozzles are cheap.
The metal version of the stock extruder is NOT an upgrade.
Don't get it; buy a BMG clone.
BMG extruders are a HUGE upgrade over the stock Ender extruders. More than twice the grip and three times the force.
Ten-minute upgrade; five to install, five to configure.

I bought the 2 pro from elegoo and the wash and cure from amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08626WF87 - they have it for $100. Got the 2000g sunlu gray ABS like resin for $41. I got other stuff too like the metal tanks, extra screen, flex plates, etc too from amazon because it was cheaper. Printer was the only thing cheaper on elegoo. Oh and got IPA from wally world as it was cheaper than amazon (especially with employee discount).
Wife may murder me since i just bought a laser engraver a few months ago too lol
Yeah I just saw that. Still a good price.
I was thinking about doing it with one of these but I have no clue how to even begin. It would be so complicated to set up from scratch.
Creality PEI Coated Glass Plate
Creality Ender Heat Break
Oh yeah, I've seen those, but most of them can only fit a single spool and I would like to dry more. Looks like they are on sale at amazon right now.
I was just thinking about ordering this. It looks like it can fit 2 spools at a time and has adjustable temperature.
I swapped out the motor for a smaller motor and swapped the extruder for a BMG extruder, so I think I managed to kinda fix both of those issues.
I've thought about getting a bigger motor for moving both the bed and the hotend. Like this one.
Also, I'm sure, no matter how heavy the hotend is, the bed is most likely still the speed limiting factor.
The only reason I did the SpeedDrive is because I wanted to print TPU and PETG easier. I've used both of those like twice, so it probably wasn't worth it lol
I don't generally bother with PLA. I store my filament in gallon ziplock bags with desiccant, and that keeps PLA plenty dry for a year or more. Everything else I dry ahead of time.
But not for 12hrs. I have one of these and it will dry anything in 4hrs or less.
Aren't these button head? I know they call them socket head but I always thought - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SQ5F27W/ those were socket head?
Maybe I am totally wrong!!! I am no screw expert (just ask the wife LOL)
Are you on mobile? I apologize, we've had some reports of issues on these links that are supposed to auto-apply the coupon for you when the user is on mobile. I updated the site post with an alternate link and it's also below, you'll just have to manually enter coupon.
It's not that straightforward with a bed flinger. The strain relief for the bed heater on my Ender 3 S1 sticks out at least 8cm or so out the back in the fully extended position.
You also have to account for the filament reel.
The creality one is (445*565*685mm), for example.
This one may work, but I'd be careful to really make sure it fits with a bit of room to spare.
Here is a really good OTG cable that I have confirmed working for $7.99, not the best deal on this cable (has been as low as $2.49 in the past) but better than the $10-$12 it normally goes for.
I think that's just the hot plate (heater) and the chamber is 50℃ Max. Should be the same as the eSun listing but that's a bit different, showing 105℃-118℃ for the hot plate and 40℃-55℃ inside the box.
they are brass and look like they will last, not the normal mk8 or mk10 nozzle style at all, the bowden tube that is inside the heat break pushes against the tip of the nozzle (i put a chamfered edge to try and hel a better seal happen but its not needed at all as its not a "leaky" design),

unless you are running non stop carbon fiber or the like I wouldn't worry too much, I have a couple hundred hours on my first set of nozzle and only had to change one that was my fault, I told it to extrude while it was over the built in cleaning brush and that made the nozzle super junky so I swapped it to clean later.

Heres the nozzles I ended up ordering one of each size to try at some point

Cheaper on amazon and its still the right ones made by them just fyi to save some money

About 3 years back I bought a 30 pack of AmazonBasics gluesticks for $6.79, shipped. ~22.6¢ per.
They don't have the 30 pack anymore, but do have a 4 pack for $4.87... bleh...
and a 60 pack for $13.42... ~22.4¢ per
They worked well while I used glass... but I then moved to PEI flexplates that don't need the glue.
Crazy.

I once considered piping a light-duty space heater into my big filament distributor box, but decided against it. I figure I don't need it often enough and a dehydrator can be stashed away, while there's not much room near my filament box.

I got this same Dual Z kit from this same seller on May 2nd for $19'ish. It arrived on May 15th, so just under two weeks total door to door from China to NY.
For reference, here is the same kit on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SQQCLKY
I always found the wired ones to be slower for some reason...?? I use this - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L63Z54G/ - for over 2 years now and still going strong. Although it is double the price I can use it on my cell too.
Has anyone used this cable one? Is it as fast as it should be? Would be nice to have one with the cable to leave attached all the time but the slow speeds kill it for me.

The free nozzles that come with YouSu filament are actually pretty good if you are a fan of their filament.
I have these brass nozzles back from Feb 19, 2022 when they were $13.99, so far no issues with the 3 that I have used, assuming they don't switch out to a different manufacture they are a good buy.
E3D is pretty good, never had any issues with them.

$199-$225 is the regular "sale" price for this printer, if you look around you can usually find it in that price range on Anet, Ebay, AlieExpress, NewEgg, Amazon, or Banggood. I have gotten them in $89.99-129.99 range a few time in the past.
Also note, these maybe New old stock, the pre 2019 version of this printer had a single set of wires in the hotbed harness, which would lead to them catching on fire, so if you only have 1 set of red and back cables on yours, you need to buy an upgrade Anet upgrade heat bed cable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B1TF3YT/
The frame is good, and the 8-bit board even though old and loud, does its job, but not very fast. The direct drive hotend exturder is an outdated and rather poorly desinged, I ened up replacing mine, and upgrading the main board to BigTreeTech SKR Mini E3 V3.0, which turned this meh printer, in to a dream machine on par with much higher end printers. Other upgrades I did was replacing the springs with silicone mounts, and adding OctoPrint 4A.
Common things that need to be replaced are belts, springs, and hotends. Glass beds maybe missing or damaged (shattered). If they took it apart and placed it back into the box before shipping it back, they are usually in good condition. But I have received some just dumped loosely in an extra large box still assembled, these had the most damage.
Here is a Meh, not great but not bad deal on some decent springs 50 for $16 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CNDYFLB?psc=1
I got this, ordered specifically to trim the dogs nails, but I'll use it for other things as needed. The flex shaft was so I could get the loud bit away from her. The accessories are OK, probably fine for plastic, but they wouldn't last working on metal.
I use this: JEDIA Cordless Rotary Tool Kit 5-Speed Variable and USB Charging Cable Mini Power Rotary Tools, 3.7V with 45pcs Accessories for Cutting, Drilling, Sanding, Engraving, Polishing & DIY Crafts (Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CH2N96Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MV2X8NZ5D89FRHQGE4RH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 works great! Cheap, rechargeable and comes with a bunch of attachments
Doesn't look like it has a clutch, so it may strip stubborn screws and round out when tightening down too much. I use a Hitachi/metabo one for my machines. Works great.
IMHO, this is a better deal for about $3more.
Non proprietary nozzle (spider is specific, but this one is a v6 nozzle) also this is a drop in replace, the spider is a different length, this requiring a different parts cooling solution.
Good catch, you may be alright though. Picture shows it as V3.1 and looking at this kit that says it's for Ender 5 PRO the brackets look the same, but certainly might not be.

I bought them because I want to print some simple parts (v-slot filler) at high speed on an ender 3 clone 120mm/s or so.
I'm pretty sure it comes with a master spool otherwise it would say it's a refill. Their lasting for the product with the same name on Amazon clearly states it is 1) filament and 2)a master spool.

Don't wait. I'm older than you and it almost killed me and my wife. A week of no power, dead air, only MRES from fema, three hour long waits for water because I didn't have enough on hand.
50 and up and 2-3 days of still, moist, hot air can kill you. My neighbor on an o2 machine died. It's brutal, like being inside a car with the engine off, all day, for a week.
You can get a basic https://www.amazon.com/Pulsar-Portable-Gas-Powered-Generator-PG1202S/dp/B00EFZQ53W/ for about $200-250 and it will keep the fridge cold, or a small 5000btu ac going.
Just be aware that Activated Alumina Desiccant is usually regenerated using compressed heated gasses, and if you allow it to fully saturate with moisture you probably can't recover it in a home oven.
It's $29 for 6lb of indicating silica desiccant ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087PCYFMW ) which is inferior to activated alumina, but is far easier to renew.
$40 is food dehydrator territory, so you might just buy a dehydrator instead.

I might spend a bit more for nozzles. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L5KJB59/ These ones are doing well for me right now. They're definitely cheap but not $0.12 per item cheap.
I got 4 of these back in November at the same sale price of $6.90. I also buy Silica Gel Beads in 7.5 pound jugs to make my own bags. I like the size of these pre-made bags because they're so handy. I have a lot of the sealed SteriLite containers with humidity sensors inside. Silica Beads make a huge difference here in Florida.
Thanks! My last gallon is almost finished. I guess I'll order the Orange for my next gallon of beads.
Question: Besides color, what is the difference between the blue and orange beads?
Answer: Type of dye used for color is the only difference between blue and orange beads. Performance wise, they are the same.
Silica gel beads are white in nature. However, you can't tell when they are saturated with moisture with white beads. Therefore, cobalt chloride is added to serve as an indicator (blue to pink). Cobalt chloride is known as carcinogen. European markets prohibited the use of blue silica gel beads in 1998. Therefore, orange indicating beads were made to conform to the European Union requirements. Thank you.

yeah, the Creality 4.2.7 is a drop-in replacement, then you need to update the firmware of the 4.2.7 mainboard, and the screen separately.
the board ranges from $35-$55 depending. so it evens out in the long run
I don't know anything about sovols to give enough of an opinion, sorry friend. All I can say is, this is the original Aquila, and I have the X2 but the differences are minimal and I absolutely love mine... Mine has only a few upgraded stock parts [like, Voxelab upgraded them between models] compared to the one in the listing [namely the extruder], so I didn't have to replace that whereas this model will require an upgrade to an all-metal extruder kit.
The H32 problem is definitely one to watch out for, but an extra $50 in the long run was well worth it to me because the Aquila is like 50 million times better of a printer than my Maker Select v2 was. I mean, I'm constantly amazed at this printer running stock firmware with minimal updates can print so darn well
I can understand that with the 40x20 gantry arm but otherwise what’s truly unique? Asking not trying to fight or say your wrong
the rest is pretty standard for parts to my eyes, just uses a volcano hotend and nozzle, normal v groove wheels, the extruder set up looks exactly like the one my Anet a8+ uses too just mounted perpendicular to it and looks like the $25 “extruder” combo (link below)
The filament sensor is unique it looks like but meh, that’s replaceable with a standard external one
My biggest concern is how solid the lock is on that folding section personally, seems like at higher print speeds it’ll end up moving with the inertia from the heavy direct drive setup.
Opinions?

If you want to just press a button and print, get a flashforge

Yup this is also true. Btw this is the Amazon listing that sells g32 and n32 only for anyone who wants one. It says it in their description and I ordered from them and got one. (It's not on sale anymore though, was 159)
You replace the springs below the hotplate with those silicone stabilizers, tighten down the bed, then level it. The bed will shake less when it is moved in and out, and the bed will stay level for longer. Alternatively, you can get the "yellow springs" that many get. They are almost as good, maybe just as good. I prefer the silicone since the support is more spread out over the corners of the bed instead of focused at one point in each corner.
Not China.
From China this same exact kit (sans the 4 nozzles) can be had for $8-9 every day. Less when actually on sale.
Even on Amazon, seeing these around $10-11 is a regular occurrence.
In fact, here is one for $8.98 from Amazon with Prime :)
I love your gusto, and the fact that someone is posting deals on a slow Saturday so the sub doesn't appear dead.
but....
This printer has been at $149 as a daily price for about 2 months now, with no coupons etc, etc, etc.
It's not 17 bucks, but I bought this enclosure a couple weeks ago, and I've been very pleased with it. It's about half the price of other enclosures its size, with a very heavy duty construction. There's plenty of room for a heater, and the reflective material should make it somewhat flame resistant.

If you're interested in a good silver silk, here's the one I got recently that I'm actually really happy with. It ends up coming out very shiny looking rather than more like an iron-y color like a lot of the other ones I tried.
Although this looks like a great little soldering iron, I agree with your choice. For lithium cells, a spot welder is the way to go IMO. I learned the hard way that even being careful soldering is not enough, and had one blow up when a stray bead of solder shorted to the case of an 18650 cell. Fortunately I was able to feel it heating up and tossed it in the backyard before it went off. When I had to repair a pack recently I was surprised how cheap welders are now, and bought this one (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B093SKXN2V/), which works well. Having a soldering iron around though is very handy for just about every other electronics project that doesn't involve lithium batteries.
There is also this listing for another Silk Rainbow - $11.82

But i can't tell if it's a full 1kg roll, a single 250g roll or 4x 250g rolls.
Just noticed you can add filament and get an extra 30% off ($10.89) 3D touch kit
Ex: $31.18 Silk copper PLA + 3D touch
Not sure what all colors have it, look for "30% off Flexible bed" in Special Offers, seems to be mislabled

This isn't too exciting, but $12.75/750g of yellow FormFutura PLA. A few weeks ago a lot of these colors on this page were <$10.

I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't work.
I can tell you for certain on monday/tuesday, when these show up and i can test it myself... but there is no reason why they shouldn't work just like any other sd card.
That said...
I found those while buying these

which is what i plan to run Octoprint on using my brand new Pi Zero 2 W...
Inland brand is a "known entity", so i feel a bit more comfortable with their stuff for something i want running all the time.
The Fattydove were bought as cheap spares for "random things".
Also should get a food dehydrator to dry your filament.

can then make tasty treats with it afterwards lol
According to an answer on https://www.amazon.com/CCTREE-Printer-Filament-Accuracy-Creality/dp/B074QK4T17/ it's 25% Carbon Fiber.... The few reviews seem to echo what the other review said.
That is showing to be $15.99 USD. Found one for $11.99, however I would fully expect filament this cheap to require drying before use. (My previous purchase of this brand required it.)

Yes the cheap ones I have seen have notes which state they will not allow charging while using the USB. Is that incorrect (or can they allow for charging a Fire Tablet while using the USB)? For example this one (https://www.amazon.com/Pack-USB-Port-Adapter-Cable/dp/B07B6CRW6D/) has a description which notes "This OTG Cable will NOT charge phones or tablets but can power on streaming sticks". Thanks!
I have to agree with u/ItsATerribleLife to a large degree. I have a bunch of these type of sets, most bought for ~$3 at Lowes on after-holiday clearance. It is GREAT to have these cheap sets around when you encounter that occasional Bizarro fastener, and it's fine for many people, but if you plan on using these regularly, get a better set.
The metal in these type of sets is very soft, and can damage both fastener you are removing as well as the bit itself. If you want a set that will last, get a set that is made of S2 steel.
Also, if a screw is set deeper in a molded plastic hole (think kid's toys, home electronics and appliances, power tools, etc.) the bits in this kit won't reach deep enough into the hole to remove the fastener.
I got this Nanch set for around $20; the extended length of the bits has come in handy many times, and while it doesn't have as many bits as the Hevanto that was posted, in the three years I've owned it I haven't run into a fastener that this set didn't cover.
This is the one I had and liked the best. It looks like it's on sale too :D
