The comments on the website were confused why the website recommended a 12 inch skillet under equipment while the recipe said 10 inch. I bought a 10 inch Lodge on Amazon (on sale for $14!) just for this. It came out perfect, something that would be served at brunch at a high end restaurant. Mmmm....
I'm actually thinking about doing this lol. I have a backup email account so I will use that to buy myself the gift subscription and log in with my primary email account. I'm also going to use privacy.com to create a credit card with a limit so it doesn't renew.
I have a slightly different Hamilton Beach model (this one) and it works very well.
I actually priced cheap blade grinders on Amazon, Wal Mart, and the local Big Lots (discount store) and bought the cheapest one.
I’m sorry; I don’t know how to shorten the link. I hope this helps you.

This is the one cooks illustrated liked the best in 2020. Bought it recently due to needing a new spoon and have really enjoyed using it:

The Complete America’s Test Kitchen TV Show Cookbook has about 50 pages of product reviews and taste tests. Here is a page from my 2017 edition.
This one is a bit cheaper and the actual ATK winner. Good luck with the convincing, I’m trying to convince my wife also!
