The tank is fine, it jus needs more branches and greenery. Fake plants work fine and these are the vines I use bc you can bend them to whatever shape: https://www.amazon.com/Fluker-Labs-SFK51019-Branch-Habitat/dp/B0009YEB52/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=fluker+vine&qid=1626741179&sprefix=fluker+vi&sr=8-4
The entire tank? 82 is probably a bit low for a basking spot. I would recommend a larger, longer tank, with at least one large, elevated basking spot with enough surface area for both anoles to sit without touching each other. Basking spot should hit 85-90. A wide horizontal branch is perfect for this. Get a temperature gun to monitor the temp in the basking space, as the ambient tank temperature is not a good indicator for this.
Your tank is already small, and most of the space in it is not actual tank space - it's just open air which the anoles cannot use or access. u/abirdbrain makes lots of great points and suggestions in their comments.
You need a Bugzooka! Best thing for spiders. Unfortunately I don't know what to do to keep them away in the first place!
