Could she get by with two of these instead of a full hand glove if the concern is just the receipt? Honestly though, I doubt she touches the receipt long enough for it to really be an issue.
I'm a spirits/wine merchandiser for a large distributor. For a long time I didn't wear gloves as I didn't like the loss of tactile sensation. Well at the start of this pandemic some yeahoo way up the chain of "powers that be" at the store/company I'm assigned to merch, decided that everyone needed to wear gloves to stop the virus. (Not the latex single use medical kind just work gloves. That's not how wearing gloves to fight illness works.) Luckily my company passed out some and I discovered that they were a good balance of protection without too much loss of touch. Wish I could remember the brand but they're similar to these. Dex fit gloves
I work grocery/dairy/frozen. I buy these gloves for work. Enough insulation to help with frozen, not too much to lose dexterity. I don't wear them all the time when stocking grocery, but if I'm doing cans (am that gross aluminum dust), or moving a lot of cardboard (like breaking down load), they definitely help. Prevents my hands from getting too dry, and I've also noticed I pinch/ hurt my hands less when wearing them.
I recently bought this one from Amazon and it works great to keep my phone steady in my dashboard or windshield while allowing me to readjust it easily: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L3Q7Y4F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_5zZ6Fb81PDE6K?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Ah ok. Guess the store hadn't had the opportunity to take them down from the shelves yet. Though the registers feel really slow at JC Penney compared to Macy's or Dillard's. I just been going around discovering the winter clearance stuff for sale to buy. I bought so much chocolate from Dillard's. They also had these premade jars filled with ingredients for a turtle brownie, Christmas tree cookies, and oatmeal chip cookies. For like $2.50 or less right now and their store brand chocolate. JCPenney i picked up a couple laser pointer machines for cats for $1.50 each and a couple clothes on the clearance rack. Thought about buying a couple more for gifts too. Oh Dillard's had like 75% off some mens accessories which were hit or Miss. Got a shoe shine box for $25 that had brushes, cloth, oil, but mediocre reviews online. A keyboard vacuum cleaner they is so cheaply made for $2 or so from the $20-25 normally. Berkshire never heard of it but oh well it was only $2 or so. I can't find it online anywhere either. That brand and any reviews.
Check Amazon. You want something that laces up for sure. This is what I wear. https://www.amazon.com/Dansko-Wyatt-Mocha-11-5-12-Regular/dp/B004K1AKCI/ref=sr_1_16?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1542666931&sr=1-16&nodeID=679255011&psd=1&keywords=danskos
