Following my last post, I called evoo to ask if the logo was removable or not. Their support insisted that it was built into the chassis, but it just made zero sense in my mind, and the idea that it was most likely a sticker kept pestering me.
I used a plastic razor blade to remove the sticker.
The laptop itself looks so much more professional now, just a perfect clean black laptop. No adhesive or marks at all as well!! (Make sure to use a plastic blade as I did) let me know if u have any questions
I'm using a Gigabyte for the primary and an old Samsung 2.5" that I had sitting around for a total of 2 Tb. Discovering the full 2.5" SSD bay was a pleasant surprise. It has a secondary M.2 slot too, so putting two of the M.2 drives in would be ideal.
The existing RAM slot had a Hynix 8 Gb, so I got this and so far so good.
It seems like they sell this model with minimal specs so they can keep the price down, but put the stupid (not really legally binding) sticker over one of the screw slots that claims your warranty is voided if you break it. I don't really need or expect much in the way of support, but that it just smacks of an attitude that they have no intention of supporting this product. I wouldn't recommend this brand to one of my clients because of this.

You can find your GPU power usage using this. If your laptop has a “turbo” or “extreme” mode or something of the sort turn it on and run a GPU stress test (https://benchmark.unigine.com/heaven). Then look at HWiNFO 64 and see how many Watts (W) the GPU is using.
Most laptops will have an “office” or “quite” mode at a lower watt limit too so you can run again to see what the power limit is for that if you’d like.
I’ve got the LP5 personally which runs 90w office mode and 125w turbo mode.
I was going to say to run Microsoft's PC Health Check app which would tell you if your system can run Win 11, put it seems to be offline for the moment.
Keep you eyes here to see when it's back and then download and run it and it will tell you if your system can run Win 11

The answer is yes, however it's important to note the differences when you say "M.2", M.2 refers to the form factor. Then you can have M.2 NVMe (PCI-E) or M.2 SATA storage. NVMe is considerably faster than the M.2 SATA that ships with the laptop. I have this in mine now:
^That NVMe SSD is just as fast as Samsung's EVO Pro brand IMO
Whats up man, I got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HQJYWFT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've had it for almost 3 months and it works perfect. I made sure to check and match the specs to the the OEM power supply.
(I leave it at home hidden behind my TV cause I don't want to keep unplugging my charger when I bring my laptop for work)
The sending back is a pain in the butt process, did it for my broken overpowered gaming laptop which is essentially the same brand. Do it ASAP!!!!! Try and catch it, and keep heckling them cuz they'll deny you multiple times. they even sent mine back more broken and then I had to send it back to them again and only then they decided to give me 'upgrade' to an EVOO laptop, I sold that one on eBay and used the money to get a thin and light from a reputable manufacturer. Ps, if you get into the upgrade situation get the most specked up model that you can, the 17 inch, so you get more money because eBay takes a huge cut. If you're looking for a thin and light, the thin and light of the year is the Lenovo flex 5 from Amazon imo. I got my dad who doesn't upgrade laptops ever to upgrade to that, I upgraded, and so did my sister! it's a thin and light so that means you'll have to stream games, but it's a banging $600 machine. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B086226DDB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_sQTwFbSF2RCWR
Edit: I'm here for questions!
the evoo 17 has a 115w 2060 which performs really well.
90w 2060s are a minor upgrade but still an upgrade as well, or a 2070, theres this one amazon for like 1300 though its used....
I was cleaning out the fans and I accidently pushed to hard, but I found this cooling pad on amazon https://www.amazon.com/KYOLLY-Upgrade-Cooling-Adjustable-10-17-3/dp/B0B87CPC3X/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=cool+pads+15.6&qid=1670190401&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE4Q1RKTFhMWlRUTFgmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTEwMjg5MzUxT1dXRlpOV1NIUEU5JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1OTQ0MzNWUUtWMFhUUjdMNTAmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl might help
Thank you for your time, I had to get one as fast as possible so I got these 1 hour ago and seems to be working for now
Found this oneon Amazon, looks to match the specs for my charger. You'll have better luck searching by the model, LP10.
I've been using a Gigabyte for about a year and a half. It's a great performer and priced right. I have a 1Tb Samsung 970 in the secondary M.2 slot, and they seem to run about the same.

This is the ram i found to match the one inthe laptop...I'd recommend adding a stick for better performance, it also has an additional m.2 slot and a sata 2.5'' slot where i put a 1tb ssd in each.
Chrome is a memory hog. Another 8 gig SODIMM is $33 and it'll solve your problem.
The difference in performance decidedly isn't worth the risk. Again, I'm using [this]9https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C8NP2FD/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_21S89E4RNTS2HC6QQ7GX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) memory, and it's performed without a hitch and is running at 2933 if you're still inside of your return window.
This had been discussed a lot on this thread. Any 2.5" sad will fit in the extra slot, like this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D998212/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0RF7QZQTGYSVXD48T4GT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I saw somewhere else that it maxes out at 64 Gb of RAM, but don't recall where. I have 32 gigs in mine, and it functions fine so far. This is the RAM that I'm using. I installed it a little over a week ago and have yet to run into any issues.
I hope this helps.
I used CPU-Z to check what was in mine and bought a 3200 Hynix 8 gig off Amazon. I also put in two 1 Tb drives (one from my previous laptop and another SATA that I just had laying around).
They use the same charger as ASUS gaming laptops. Make sure that YOU MUST GET 180W! I got a 150W charger and performance tanked. The laptop needs 180W to function well.
I bought this and it works perfectly. Way cheaper than an official EVOO one: https://www.amazon.com/Asus-Rog-Gaming-Laptop-Charger-Adapter-Compatible/dp/B06XQ4JZ2S/ref=sr\_1\_6?dchild=1&keywords=Asus+Model+Laptop+Charger+180w&qid=1635623916&sr=8-6

I'm not sure how good it is or anything, but I found this off a real quick look.
I recommend you to oc yours (the ones that came with the notebook. I was able to do it through Intel XTU). I bought this ones https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QNS88J8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not much improve, will say maybe 4 to 6 fps
I used this RAM because it matches the existing brand and it's speed.
Most PC technicians try and match the brand and speed of existing RAM to avoid any timing or compatibility issues.
if you are going for an upgrade, suggest this ones but dont know if they will bot on 3200mhz
Hmm, that link isn't working. The one I was trying to post states "New".

That's just the one that I happened to have on hand. You can get this one. There are two NVME slots as well as a 2.5" slot for a full sized SSD.

I think there are a number of options that work. Might have to search through the subreddit a bit for options. I went with the Sabrent RocketQ and it worked great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZZYWTBP
I have an evoo LP5 and i can use my quest 2 with link just fine Half Life Alyx is stuttery AF but boneworks and budget cuts work fine. Try buying a cable on amazon instead of using a usb c hub. i use this one and it works just fine for me.
Nothing beats proper maintenance and care for increasing longevity. Your cooler looks clever and affordable. Get a second one and swap between both once a week. You'll find that it would last much longer. Interchanging between 2 coolers would prove to last longer than keeping one and buying a new one after it breaks. That said, random chance dictates that you could get a bad cooler or an unfortunate disaster could befall to one of the coolers. buying 2 coolers is better than waiting for a new cooler after the first one breaks.
Taking care of your tools>buying expensive.
I bought a thermaltake. I like your cooler design more. However the thermaltake has a longer standoff on the bottom. when I place it on the table the screen is high enough that I don't have to look down(keep my head straight). It is a low quality cooler and regret my decision. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00FPR8FLY
I would have gotten a cooler designed similar to this instead for the bedroom. I don't believe I would game as hard that I need something strong, when I lay in bed. Comfort vs utility. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B002NU5O9C

All the other comments here are wrong. The stock LP5 charger is 180W, 5.5x2.5mm charger.
The LP4 uses a 150W charger so that one won’t provide enough charge when fully taxing the CPU and GPU. The 90W charger also mentioned in this thread will immediately throttle as soon as you start gaming. The 230W charger is for the LP6 and, while it would work, would add extra unnecessary cost and bulk.
ASUS also uses the 5.5x2.5 barrel adapter, so you can just search Amazon for a 180W (19.5V @ 9.23A or above) ASUS charger and it’ll work. You could also buy a multi-tip 180W charger and that would work too.
Here’s an example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MN59K3F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zfhqFbA8D1A67
If your on a budget matching the esthetics and functionality a polyester/neoprene case can’t be beat. There are a million options on amazon/staples etc.

If you like leather recommend checking out:
I bought the ADATA XPG SX8100 1TB 3D NAND NVMe Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280 Solid State Drive R/W 3500/3000MB/S SSD (ASX8100NP-1TT-C) Seems to run good. I am only getting 1800 on the write speeds but the read speeds are about 3300. The ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro is better due to better cache. I'm happy with mine for 115 with tax for 1 TB check amazon..
I bought an EVOO LP6 back in January. When it runs, it's an amazing laptop. However, after gaming for 30-60 minutes, the GPU will ALWAYS overheat and cause the laptop to completely freeze. The more graphic-intensive the game is, the sooner this happens. Customer support also seems to be short staffed. The last time I called, I was number "32" on the hold queue.
Although the GPU overheating issue could be limited to my unit, I can't recommend buying this laptop. Especially not for gaming. Two additional issues which seem common to this model in general are poor battery performance and an unresponsive keyboard, which aren't deal breakers on their own, but still worth mentioning.
If I could go back in time, I would probably pay the extra $200-400 for a comparable ASUS or MSI laptop. Better-known companies seem to test their machines more thoroughly (or at least have accessible customer service). Right now, Amazon has a decent-ish looking deal on an MSI GF65 Thin: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GF65-9SE-013-i7-9750H-Win10Home/dp/B07Z5NB3CN/
Yeah I have the 17 inch, which is the LP6 I believe. It's not very thick at all honestly compared to other 17 inch gaming laptops I have used. Might be about an inch at its thickest part (the back), but don't have a tape measure on me. Previously I used an Asus G750JM and that thing makes this EVOO look tiny lol. It will 100% fit any 17 inch laptop bag/case IMO. The one I used for my G750JM was made for 17.3 inch laptops and I think I could fit 3 of the EVOOs in it.
This is the bag I use https://www.amazon.com/Evecase-Briefcase-Professional-Chromebook-Messenger/dp/B01F4F70GW/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
