I most certainly recommend it. My two rubbers on the keyboard fell off and the keys left some marks on the screen after that. I've heard from a lot of people that these rubbers fall off after some time, so be careful.
I use a Brotect protector. I believe it's this one (I bought mine in Germany):
Using this one:
Not sure, if it is available in other countries.
If you're a gambling man:
Actually, one of the reviewers says they put it in a Flow X13 and it worked, so maybe worth a roll of the dice?
Was able to found a usb type a 3.2 gen 2 hub in amazon. Hopefully this indeed has a 10gb bw, therefore I can use my usbc ports for charging and monitor.

Will arrive next week.
The HYZUO magnetic laptop sleeve with smiley flap.
For the Flow X13 I recommend the 13" version, not the 13.3" one (I tried both). I really like this one and had it's predecessor for 4 years for my previous laptop too.

100% recommended looks like the oem and work like the oem charger.
Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TD9J76P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Also bought universal gaming laptop usb-c 120w from best buy and do not turn on the performance features of the x13.
A 100W cable preferably, just know you're not going to get 100W (and therefore the max performance) out of anything but the included charger plugged directly into the laptop because it's not USB-PD (it actually gets 100W the same way an old style DC charger works, and the chance of that working through a dock is basically 0). If you want that while docked you'll either have to plug the charger into the laptop or get the XG Mobile (which has 100W output).
This cable's expensive, but it'll work. Doesn't necessarily have to be Thunderbolt but it's not necessarily a bad idea if you're getting a cable for a Thunderbolt dock that doesn't come with one.
I lost my original charger and I use this. https://smile.amazon.com/Anker-PowerExpand-Adapter-Delivery-Ethernet/dp/B087QZVQJX/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2KEXH80C8UC3E&keywords=anker+usb+c+hub&qid=1668883768&s=electronics&sprefix=anker+usb+c+hub%2Celectronics%2C100&sr=1-5&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840
However, I use the other USB C port for display since this doesn't have a display port. At the time of purchasing, it I didn't need DP, and all my peripherals and ethernet through the adapter.
There are grilles underneath. This is the one I use, though I'm not sure if it's available outside Japan: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B09DNZPC66/
I do think you need one that is of similar design (flat platform on a raised stand). I tried a $10 kickstand-type first, but the top of it gets caught in the gap between the body and the display if you open it to a large angle.
Like u/FrequentWay already mention, only first party chargers work flawless with the x13 and z13. Asus says that because the power goes directly to the MB instead of going through the battery, they would need to limit 3rd party chargers to 65w (I think that's BS, and think they just want to sell you the chargers.). I use a Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) for my x13 when I know that I won't be gaming or doing heavy workloads when I go out, otherwise I'd have to take the bigger first party charger with me aswell.
I use this Magnetic sleeve (13" version) https://www.amazon.de/-/en/function-compatible-MacBook-2018-2021-2016-2021-darkgray/dp/B096XDHR1T
I've had it for 4 years for my previous 2in1 and now bought it again as the old one's corners are quite worn. While it won't protect your device much while in use, it does provide a smooth, clean surface for your laptop, allows for plenty of air intake in laptop mode and can also be used as a decent mousepad.
When using the laptop on your lap, it also shields you from the heat a bit.
I don't have any experience with any messenger-style bag but I got this sleeve and it fits very snug and seems to offer good protection. The charger and cord fit in the zip pocket with enough room for a mouse and some extra cords or something.
Has anyone heard of or used this brand? It measures 13.5"x9.25" or so which isn't much bigger than the Flow and seems to have good ratings. It was in some "best of" list for cooling pads but I know not to really trust those.
Ok, so I’m terms of clean power I think I’m fine. I won’t have access to another outlet till tomorrow, but I’m using an adapter (link). I’m in the land down under rn, so I’m not sure if it has to do with my power strip or what. I’m not even close to the 250w max of the power strip. I’ll try different power and see if it persists though.
Yes you can, I use a 100W USB-C PD powerbank from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Portable-30000mAh-AOHI-Capacity-Charging/dp/B09KGZJWSD/ref=sr\_1\_4?crid=3GGQN922CM4PE&keywords=100w+usb+pd+power+bank&qid=1654759002&sprefix=100w+usbc+pd+powerbank%2Caps%2C62&sr=8-4
Here's the only igpu version that i know about
Something like
https://www.amazon.com/MOTZU-Kickstand-Reduction-Universal-Anti-Slip/dp/B083LY91R6
Would work.
Please note you can get em much cheaper, i just took the first listing that looked like what I meant
I bought an x13 from best buy and didn't get a charger. After going through some test, I found this one working with mine and can turn on turbo/manual mode with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TD9J76P
Sure On Japan website, the spec says up to 13.6 hours of battery life

one thing i would suggest is getting a cat8 cable such as this one, this help increase the speed of videos in the app.

UPDATE: I tried this one, with no success. I won't bother to try the other one, because I don't think cablematters is the kind of company that would break usb-c specifications.
For the sleeve, I had a really hard time finding one. Most sleeves out there are thick and bulky, and thus it wouldn’t m fit inside my flight bag the way I needed it to. So I ended up commandeering a sleeve from an ASUS Zenbook that I had purchased. The sleeve is extremely thin and fits perfect. However, since you probably haven’t recently purchased a Zenbook, the next closest thing I found was the Amazon Basics Felt Laptop Sleeve:
Not sure about power bank or charging unit.
I don’t have a stand, but just found out that the box the X13 came in is actually convertible to a stand (see my recent post in this channel).
If you’re into writing on the screen, a good pen will be nice for you. I use the Banboo Ink pen and it seems to work pretty well for me.
Day 3. No issues at all. Plug, unplug, swap ports, flip into the tablet mode. Everything is fine.
Notice that my display Cocopar 15.6: Touch is portable and I only use it with Asus ROG Flow on power not to plug external power to display
any usb-c dock you can find in your budget will suffice.
must have: 1GB or 2.5GB LAN
nice to have: usb ports to be 3.0 (3.1 gen 1 i guess)
hdmi/display port
sd card reader
PD charging. even if the laptop supports only 65w charging when using anything else but the original charger (even with the original charger plugged in to the dock), you never know when you need it :)
when the laptop is charged only at 65w, you will lose battery while gaming or performing heavy tasks that involve both cpu and gpu
for example i have this Hama: https://www.amazon.com/USB-3-1-TYPE-C-HUB-1-3-ALU-HDMI/dp/B079NY8QDG
You can get the R9 5900HS model with 32gb ram without the RTX 3080 From Amazon in India
You can buy it from here
I'm currently using this product. It is well made, I have tested all the usb ports and they are working. The ethernet is unfortunately is maxed out at 400mbps even though I have 1gbps/1000mbps fibre broadband. You can charge your flow x13 while using it, it has 100w power delivery but it gives you 85w. However, I can't talk for HDMI port and sd/microsd slot. It gets untouchable warm if you use the power delivery port and other ports. Overall I recommend, with all this features you get it for approximately 40 pounds with discounts but I bought it for 33 pounds, it is cheaper than other competitive brands. So far it feels durable, but I will see how it is in the long term.
i just got this one about a week ago:
https://www.amazon.com/USB-3-1-TYPE-C-HUB-1-3-ALU-HDMI/dp/B079NY8QDG
it does not charge at 100w even if it is capable according to the specs, but only 65w due to the limitation imposed by asus.
I have one very similar to your first link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y5N3YCD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven’t tried it on the X13 (I use it with another device), but can try this tomorrow when I’m at my desk and report back.
Everyone is right. Except I have yet to see this Laptop go 9 hours. I don't think I've even made it to 8.
But like you say this is an all around laptop for everything. But it's not an Apple product. So you will need to manage things yourself. And ASUS gives you this app called Armoury Crate and it's a POS software no kap. But anyways I think people who talk about 3 hour battery life just don't even know (or don't care) that the dGPU can be disabled.
You can definitely get 6 hours on Silent in iGPU mode without any additional work. You can use RyzenAdj to lock down the CPU even further than what Armoury allows you to do (basically like Armoury Manual mode which is locked on battery). That is where I take my personal 7 hours claim from. Again I know people talk about 9 hours apparently, no idea what they do.
I use this powerbank. I had a different one before but this laptop is just way too picky about its input wattage. My previous one had 45W and I would just be stuck in 0.40Ghz mode. With the new one I can actually use the laptop at a normal pace while charging it.

Just ordered, do I need an adapter? Lol should of checked but looks like a great deal
One Hand RGB Gaming Keyboard,USB Wired Rainbow Letters Glow Single Hand Keyboard with Wrist Rest Support Multimedia Keys, Backlit Ergonomic Mechanical Feeling Keyboard for Game https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B1GS1ZG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_C3E4ASX7Z9266YHVS9FP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I ordered one of these and use only my left hand yo hot key I wanna buy one that is like 80$ that has more keys. I like the optional functionality of the Flow X13 but I'm starting to think I might have to try and return it and try a different one
Can't speak to any of the ones you mentioned, but I'm happy with the RENAISSER stylus (USB-C). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0987J23K1
That said, I've barely used it outside of testing if it works in Linux.
What others have said: invest in a high quality ($60-$100) USB-C hub for your monitor and peripherals, use the other USB-C port for the OEM power adapter at 100w.
I would recommend something like this Anker Hub or something by Satechi, lots of options on Amazon.
Awesome; thanks for the link and the confirmation that it will work with the X13. Psyched that I can order it now and have it arrive here at the same time the comp will--squee!
Or I just saw that there's a newer model too. This should work too?
Yeah, an aluminum stand that tilts would be all you really need, it works really well even if you don't turn the fan on in the stand; it just helps the fans draw in cool air instead of being against a hot tabletop or lap.
Why not just get a nice USB C dock? That's what I did for now. I got this one for $30 and have no complaints so far. You can still use the USB C portion of your XG Mobile port to dock and the dock I linked allows 100 W charging through a USB C pass through Power Delivery port.
If you want an eGPU, you have to go with the XG Mobile for now. If you don't need the eGPU, you can get all the connectivity you need through a cheap USB C dock like the one above.
This one looks pretty nice as well...
This one looks like it's rated for 4k/60Hz.
Which one did you get?. Mine didn't come with a stylus so I got the one below. Works out of the box. Just had to unscrew the top and insert the battery which was included. Right clicking works as well.

Got his usb-c hub off Amazon USB C Hub,CableCreation 7-in-1 USB-C Hub Multiport Adapter Type C Dongle with 4K@60Hz HDMI ,2 USB 3.0 Ports,100W PD,Gigabit Ethernet and SD/TF Cards Reader for MacBook Pro/ Air 2020/2019,iPad Pro,XPS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FWMWGTD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_G9VBVXJMRK0YEV1S9HH8 Seemed to be the best specd adapter at the $30-40 range. Has a gigabit Ethernet port, fast sd/micro sd slots (480mbs), hdmi 2.0b up to 4k@60 FPS and 1080@120 FPS, 2 usb type a ports with 5gbps speed, and you can plug in the power adapter into it. However keep in mind that although the company claims 92w output, Asus puts a limitation of 65w if you don’t plug the power adapter directly to the laptop. Con: no extra usb c port on the hub.
