By the way, I don't trust the Democratic Party politicians to do the things you say. If they came to power they'd shift priorities again. Just having the name "Democrat" doesn't change anything. When these laws were instituted (to stop Communists) the people in power were called Democrats.
And even if I did believe a Dem majority were magic, there's lots of other issues at stake.
This is a fine approach...if you are the sole, immortal inhabitant of a planet with abundant resources and no predators. Otherwise, a it's laughably naive philosophy that fails every time it is tried.
