Don't forget the Groupon deal that knocks it down to 40. I already confirmed with the event in CS that they are honoring the groupon.
I'm probably going in May. The lady friend has never shot or handled a gun (outside of what I've taught her) so she's looking forward to this. I know I'll learn new things as well.

i use this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BZ7VYEW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
takes a bit of messing with and you might have to make some shims out of a wooden home depot paint stick for some guns but it does the job and is less scary than trying to drift with a punch
Long Range Training is not the same thing as "sniper training". If you want to shoot out to 800-1000 yards, you do not need a partner, you need math.
Almost all precision reticles work on similar principles. The references etched in the glass indicate a certain amount of bullet drop at a given range, you can use a ballistic calculator like Strelok on your phone to calculate how much the bullet will drop in a given distance. Then you dial, or hold, high enough to compensate for the drop.
You can try taking a long range clinic like the Rifles Only guys run, or you can read some of the theory in a book.
