It's just smoke season.... unfortunately becoming a yearly thing it seems. It's not just here, the entire west has been burning a lot more than normal.
The smoke right now is either coming from fires in California or up around northern Idaho.
Probably worth considering getting an air compressor too. They have a lot of uses besides putting air in your tires but if you're having to do it a lot it's nice to be able to at home.

Seriously, Facebook is great for this kind of stuff.

Couldn't be happier. For those who didn't click the link I've got 6 ms ping (would get 40-100 ms with Comcast), 116.21 Mbps down 216.43 Mbps up.
I previously had Comcast "gigabit" where I'd get anywhere from 80-400 Mbps down and 20-40 Mbps up, but increased latency.
There is a big snow storm right now and it doesn't seem to be impacting my speeds with Wi-Fiber.
My only knock on Wi-Fiber is that the router they provide you with is pretty weak -- as in I got great speeds hardlined into it but wireless coverage around the house deteriorated pretty severely. I resolved that by putting in a mesh network, I now get 100 Mbps down anywhere in the house, I've had no problems with disconnects when gaming, and stream 4K with no problem whatsoever.
You can check on the Just serve app. Download Just Serve
Also you could try Little Lambs or donate some to the homeless shelters in SLC
Buy this Cache Trails book (you can get a copy at the Sportsman), and try and check off every hike in the book. You won't regret it and it's motivating to have a targeted goal!
The other option too is to get a soldering kit like this and take a whack at it yourself.

I have this kit and so far, I've been able to solder my own stuff without messing things up.
It suggests that both men and women should be really careful hooking up. My concern is how the case evolved. Of course this will be seen as shameless self-promotion, but I have done a lot of research into these kinds of allegations, and this is my conclusions...
I never heard of scouts making that trip, but then I didn't grow up here. There's a 100 different ways you could hike it. National Geographic Trails Illustrated has a map of the Bear River Range. I'd pick it up and figure out your route with it.
Good luck!
