No way--I wouldn't even know how to go about making a crochet hook 😅 You can get a set of smaller-sized hooks on Amazon for like $11 (I think I got this set if I remember right). You should give it a go if you're interested!
I feel that! 😂😂😂 I have so many patterns I’ve bought and still haven’t gotten around to using! I got an email from Amazon recommending crochet books and I’m having to fight the urge to buy a few of them! (Although I think will seriously pre order this one )
I think the exact metal type I used is pretty old. I don't see them for sale anywhere. My friend got it from a craft thrift store (that I must visit now). I've seen some fabric Aida ones at Joanne's, but I prefer to use this, I prefer the white ove the clear but this stuff can be difficult to find, unfortunately.
It's a 14 ct Plastic Canvas. It's great for making them into ornaments!

The pattern is actually from a book available on amazon here but you may be able to find something similar on ravelry. I actually freehanded the leaves, because I couldn't really understand the written instructions very well.

Hey, thanks!! I use this, but you can use fishing line. I then do the first two of each square of ten. I hope that helps! You can find some YouTube videos on how to do it.
