Mojang posted a article on there site.
It will be between
Switch Edition
Xbox One Edition
Windows 10 Edition
Pocket Edition
VR Editions
Mojangs site also says
> What’s more, any DLC you purchase will be accessible amongst the various devices at no extra charge. (For example: if you buy the Greek Mythology pack on Nintendo Switch, you’ll also own it on the mobile, Xbox One and Windows 10 Editions too - no extra charge).
That's cool.
Edit: it looks like PlayStation systems and the Wii U will not be getting crossplay unfortunately.
Edit 2: It also doesn't seem too have cross play with Java Edition.
MHW has many QOL improvements that drastically improved the series for many people. It might be hard to go back.
Here's a good article: https://kotaku.com/whats-new-in-monster-hunter-world-1821230810
EDIT: I'm not trying to say MHW is better than XX, just pointing out that people who started with that game may have a hard time adjusting. I myself don't have experience with World so this is gonna be a smooth transition from Generations on 3DS.
This is what I’ve used BASSTOP Portable Dock Replacement Case for Nintendo Switch(Only The case, You Have to DIY with The Circuit Board chip from The Original Dock) (Red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073S667M6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XZz6Cb1B0BHNM
Edit: just to point out, I own the Skullcandy grips (which I love) with the case, and this mod plus the wall charger both fit in the small compartment underneath where the switch lies. In other words, I can carry an hdmi cable, a pair of joycons, both wrist straps, the switch with its grip on, the charging dock and the wall charger in the case alone. I legit have all I need in one case in order to be able to connect my switch to any TV anywhere I go. Not to mention the case can hold 10 game cartridges.
I posted it already in this thread. I got it off Amazon. Here is the link again.
Couldn’t find any 4 controller cases for the Switch so I made my own out of a 8.89 Liter Monoprice Weatherproof/Shockproof Hard Case with Pick N Pull foam.
It was about $45 on Amazon. There’s two pick apart foam layers then a third layer of normal foam that I halved to give a little more depth and I’m extremely happy with how it came out.
Edit: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Weatherproof-Shockproof-Hard-Case/dp/B013Z73SYE here’s the link to exact case used.
Yeah, for anyone that doesn't know, sleep quality is probably the most important factor for health besides nutrition, and nothing destroys sleep architecture quite as well as blue light. It would be great if they added a F.lux type options, but knowing Nintendo's tendency for never implementing super easy and consumer friendly decisions, I don't expect it.
Since this is a big issue for me, I tried an 'anti-blue' screen protector, which did basically nothing. If you can see blue light, it's not working.
So I went ahead and bought some amber colored blue-light blocking lenses to clip on my glasses: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071FPWQDX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Absolute game changer, my sleep has been MUCH deeper since I started wearing these at night, and I wake up feeling much more rested and less groggy, even if I was playing Switch right before bed (which would have destroyed the quality of my sleep before). I highly recommend a good set of blue light blocking glasses or lenses.
This is actually a bit sad. I bought a lot of their guides growing up. I haven't bought many recently, but occasionally they'd release a nice hardcover guide that I'd get just for my shelf.
It makes sense, though. Guides have been free online for forever now. Early-mid 2000s were mainly just text guides (a la GameFAQs), but I know that sites like IGN started putting out high-quality guides with pictures for free. I assumed that the physical guides industry would be dead eventually, I'm just a bit surprised that it lasted this long.
Edit: I've always wondered, these game guide companies have always been able to release their guides on launch day for their respective games, sometimes even a few days before. How do they do this? Do they get advanced copies well before reviewers do, or does the developer themselves help write the guide? Does the developer themselves make the guide, and Prima/Brady is just a publishing service?
Edit 2: Get it while you can!
Edit 3: While I'm here reminiscing about the age of physical game guides, I wanted to say that I always loved how the official Ocarina of Time guide was written like a story via third person PoV about Link. It wasn't written like "Whenever Ganondorf throws an energy ball at you, swing with your sword to send it back." It was written like "Ganondorf kept up his onslaught, but Link discovered that he could send the energy blasts back with a swing of his sword." That was very cool.
For those who need a larger Micro SD:
400gb Micro SD is $51 US right now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SC7BZHR/ref=twister_B07B3MFBHY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
>i can't afford to buy new controllers every year
Just an FYI, I actually just replaced a joystick in a joycon that my wife uses. She gets competitive and not only did the joystick have drift, she ended up ripping off the rubber top of the joycon. It only cost $7.50 to replace it (2 pack of new joysticks was $14.99 on Amazon and comes with all the tools you need). Works beautifully now. There's videos online to walk you through the steps to fix it too.
For anyone looking for a link to the ones I got, they were these ones.
AMAZON Too: "Contains digital download code. No cartridge included"
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NRWW3SN/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_7?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1
Mine has been used docked only since launch and it's still flawless. More playtime than should be allowed by law.
That said, get a screen protector. $8 for two, easy to apply, and you get peace of mind knowing your switch's plastic screen is safe. I've have one on my switch since launch.
I'm wondering if the possibility of playing with only a joycon will get confirmed.
Edit: i know stick sucks for fighting game but you gotta work with what you have. I have this tho

here you go
I modified mine. https://vgy.me/mveWph.jpg
I made a guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/5xnukm/howto_dock_modification_to_prevent_screen/
Edit: Automod nuked my post. Currently sorting it out with the mods.
I don't every day carry my switch but if I know I'll have downtime I can play, I'll put the switch in the mumba rugged and carry that, my cartridges, and a battery pack in this bag.
I too had this issue, and completely fixed it with some electrical contact cleaner. Compressed air didn't work, I had to use this stuff. You lift up the rubber base of the sticks and spray this stuff in there on all the sides, wiggle around your sticks a bit to get it all around in there, let it dry for a an hour and then they'll be back to normal. I have to repeat this process every few months depending on how often depending on how much I'm using my switch, but it's super easy and takes very little time. I still have the same can of cleaner, and it seems like it has plenty left in it.
This image is likely faked or the comment was edited. If you navigate to the actual page here, the response does not have the final part and translates to "Cyril, good afternoon! Follow the news!"
Thank you u/throwaway393977 for your message about this.
EDIT: Added "or the comment was edited" to original phrase to clarify further.
Not OP but you either just scale it up with paint.NET or any other image editor...
Or you use letsenhance.io which can sometimes be really impressive, but it can look bad if the input is not detailed enough.
Idk if a hundred other people have told you this or not but the switch NEEDS a screen protector. Its not like a nice thing to have, you really need one or else the system will get scratched to hell in no time. The default screen is plastic so it scratches rather easily and the portable nature of it (pulling in and out of bags and such) as well as the way it slides into docks makes it really likely to get scratched. There are nice glass ones on amazon for really cheap. these are the best that I have found and the easiest to put on without air bubbles.
There's a Zelda themed one on Amazon for $20, it's pretty slick. Scroll through the pics to get to it, it comes with a Mario themed plate as well so all the first few pics are of the Mario plate

I use the Sony Gold headset with my Switch, and it works great. While a headphone jack would be nice, I hope you realize that it's still possible to use wireless headphones with the Switch. You don't have to play with low or no volume!
Hmm, these appear to be the inverse of previous international releases... Meaning if your willing to also import another pair it appears you can have a fully Green or Pink Switch.

I'd love to give a link, but it looks like the Amazon link I got it from is for another product. It's the "Pocket Pico Mobile Projector, Android Operating System, Netflix, Hulu, HBO & Google Play Store Apps, HDMI Input, Auto Keystone Correction, 100 Ansi Lu" by "PocketPico".
I had to dig through Fakespot.com and see which was a reliable projector before I bought it. I wanted to buy it early and test it out just in case it breaks, I can return it and get another one before the popular Switch games comes out this fall, and it looks like I got a good one.
EDIT: I did a quick Google search, and it looks like it's this one, but it's sold out.
My boyfriend replaced the shells for me. We ordered the casings on amazon - he’s changed the shells on other game remotes and is way more tech savvy than I am
This means Amazon is selling 2 Wii U version and none for the Switch. This has to be some screw up that is just getting deeper.
Edit: /u/mygawd pointed out that the title has been fixed back to Switch and as I just checked the platform now correctly says Switch. Looks like we are good! https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Breath-Wild-Switch/dp/B01MS6MO77/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1485378735&sr=1-1&keywords=zelda+breath+of+the+wild
I took my Switch over to a friends once and immediately wanted another option for travelling with my dock.
This does require you to basically trash your original dock, but it's much more manageable for space and quite easy to do. Took me 30 minutes to do the swap and haven't had issue in any form in the month ive had it.
Direct Link to the 1.13 Firmware update
I just played some Rocket League to test it out and it seems to work flawlessly with no perceptible lag and rumble support. The buttons correspond to the button position on the Pro Controller, so the transition was seamless.
Only the newer Xbox One controllers are supported since the earlier ones didn't have Bluetooth. I am running on the latest firmware(5.0) for the Switch as well.
The adapter is available from Amazon for $20.
Edit - This usually gets asked everytime so let me preemptively say No,Third Party Controllers do not support Amiibo.
Dan Adelman from Leadman Games here as well in case anyone has any questions about the upcoming retail version, Salt and Sanctuary: Drowned Dome Edition!
this is insane. just placed my order
EDIT: Canceled my order. they have a switch up for 150 Right now. They seem too sketchy.
The problem with Chrono Trigger is that Square Enix isn't the sole rights holder of the title. Bird Studio (Toriyama Akira's Studio), Shueisha (best known for Jump Comics), and Armor Project (Yuji Horii/Dragon Quest) all hold rights to the title. You can see this on the bottom of their homepage.
The game was conceived as a "Dream Project", where an all-star team of game developers, musicians, and artists made their dream game. The game was also heavily marketed by Shueisha, where Jump Comics was in its 'golden age' pumping out hit after hit; Dragon Ball, Naruto, Once Piece, Yugioh, JoJo, Slam Dunk, HunterxHunter, etc. V-Jump and Jump was Chrono Trigger's hype builder in the 90s, especially as its star artist, Toriyama Akira, of Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest fame was doing the art.
For that reason there are a lot of people that need to sign off on making remakes and re-releases. Its also the reason why Square changed the name of the game to Chrono Cross for the sequel instead of making a Chorno Trigger 2 which would have been a guaranteed success based on the brand.
Its not an impossible task, as we do have an iOS and Android rereleases, as well as various versions, but we don't have any remakes, sequels, or collaborations. There are a lot of people will want to get paid and need to sign off for that to happen.
I mentioned this a few times and I’ll mention it again. I also believe dust is the main culprit to the problem, but I also believe that when you try to blow air duster or wd-40 contact cleaner, any other cheap cleaner, it’s actually making the problem worse long term. Sort of like blowing on n64 cartridges, it’s a good short term fix, but it ends up making the cartridge worse over time. Air duster, contact cleaner ends up drying out all of the lubricant that exists on these metal wipers. I’ve seen this problem myself on vintage electronics where you get crackling volume pots so you blast electronic cleaner and when it all drys up you got crackling pots again. I believe the solution would be to use deoxit Faderlube. You really don’t need to blast half a can in it either. Just a few drops should be fine.
I’ve never had problems with the 6 joy cons I own so I’ve never tried this. I am curious to know if anyone else has or will try it though.
look into this. It's the shell for a smaller dock, but you have to DIY the thing by taking apart an official Nintendo dock.
https://www.amazon.com/BASSTOP-Portable-Nintendo-Replacement-original/dp/B071YVC3NJ
I ended up buying a used Dock for $70 on Amazon Marketplace
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B06ZZ6FGGL/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all
It's been worth it having it in two rooms of the house.
> I'm already searching for a third party dock without a front (that doesn't brick your system) so I can still play some games on my TV. Any suggestions?
i'd recommend getting one of those dock shells that are of that design and then you take out the contents of your dock and put it inside. should be cheap and uses all of nintendo's hardware (other than the plastic shell) so no bricking.
edit: afaik this one is popular on this sub so it must be decent: https://www.amazon.com/BASSTOP-Portable-Nintendo-Replacement-original/dp/B071YVC3NJ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533556540&sr=8-3&keywords=nintendo+switch+dock+shell
You should check out the Linkstyle Nintendo Switch Dock if you want the spring mechanism, you can also use it with a Skull & Co. GripCase.
There's also a bunch of codes you can use to unlock free stuff in game. Most of them are just for glyphs and cosmetic stuff like that, but one of them in particular---FREESWORD---gives you a free heat sword and, more importantly, a free weapon slot.
Also, make sure to link your Warframe account to your twitch prime if you've got it, since Warframe partners up with twitch fairly regularly. They're doing a couple of different promotions right now, including one that gives away a solid healer/support Prime frame and a Warframe slot to go with it.
Edit: For anyone that’s played on PC, here is some info about the PC account clone process. The most important item to note is that platinum purchased on PC will not clone over to your switch account, so if you’ve got purchased platinum in your account, you should buy weapon/Warframe slots, a new frame, or anything else that would carry over to switch in order to maximize the value of that platinum, especially if you plan to make Switch your primary platform.
The article does not go into detail. Seems like all he did is plugging it into an adapter. The adapter he used is the Mayflash MagicNS adapter. 8bitdo also offers such an adapter, however that is strictly wireless.
It's cool to see that he used an adapter for the adaptive controller on the Switch but at the end of the day it's all that he did. Nothing new in this regard.
I would highly recommend the LinkStyle dock chasis DIY swap. Here are some highlights:
Here's a pic of my switch docked in the LinkStyle chasis. It's taken from far away, but you get the idea. I'm a big fan, to say the least.
Dark Souls Remastered still has the Prime discount, so we know the already announced games are fine. We'll have to check this out once we get another remake.
Hi Dad, Dad, Dad, and Dad. Dad here also. The screen protector I agree is a must have. Mario party and Mario cart are a must for Family fun. I completely agree. BOTW could be to complicated for him but then again, it could not be. Its Fun and I think he could grow into it.
Here is the case I use. It fits everything really well and I am super happy with it:

I use this when I travel on The plane also. It fits perfectly over the handle of my suitcase.

No rumble
No gyro
No internal battery, it draws power directly from the systems USB-C port.
No thanks.
(cross-posting my comment from the /r/NSCollectors thread)
I cancelled my pre-order on Amazon and reported the article to Amazon as the cover of the game doesn't mention anything.
I encourage everyone reading this to do the same to increase chances that Amazon will take action.
Go to the Young Blood Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition on Amazom desktop site.
Click the blue link at the bottom right corner of the product description "Report incorrect product information"
Select "Images" then either "Doesn't match product" or "Is not clear"
In the text box explain with your own words that the image of the cover doesn't indicate that the game comes as a download code and not a cartridge as is always expected with a physical release. You can also explain that this is confusing / misleading / deceitful and share (briefly) your displeasure.
Keep it simple and polite. Stick to the facts. Remember it's not Amazon's fault if AAA publishers are deciding to pull a bait on switch on their customers.
Feel free to quote / repost this receipe for all other games that try to get away with doing that. We have to start pushing back as customers if we don't want the entire industry to follow through with this worrisome trend of selling empty boxes with download codes as "physical" release.
You can often buy digital codes from Amazon that are redeemable through the eShop. Here's a link to Hollow Knight - https://www.amazon.com/Hollow-Knight-Nintendo-Switch-Digital/dp/B07FCVQFHV/

This is also handy if Nintendo doesn't want to take your payment method/credit card, but Amazon will.
Can't speak for OP, but I personally used the same Joy-Con cases and gutted a spare pair I had. They looked beautiful, but are much more of a brittle plastic than the official ones. One of them ended up breaking around the screws after being dropped by a nephew.
They haven't said much about the subject but one executive has been quoted as saying something along the lines of them wanting playing the games to be the reward, not some arbitrary trophy.
I get that reasoning though I don't necessarily agree.
Edit: looked up the source: https://kotaku.com/5740114/a-nintendo-argument-against-achievements
Am I just missing the part where Nintendo explains why it purposefully made Switch cartridges taste awful? It seems like this is just Destructiod explaining it.
Edit: Here is a Kotaku article that actually includes an explanation from Nintendo.
Playing on a huge map with max city-states, performance notably degrades late game, but I wouldn't say it's anything particularly major and the biggest issues (menu delay, sound cutting off, etc) go away if you close and re-load the game.
For u/Crooks-1 I'm playing digitally with the game loaded on this card.
Lol same. I have a bunch of these I’m going to use though:
The grips do honestly make it usable
Youre too used to paying for cheap chinese crap.
Any decent brand of USB-C hub with hdmi out and power delivery is going to cost $40 to $100.
This was discussed to death when the prices were announced.
uhh there's a first-party solution for that. it's $20, has a charge port and the angle can be adjusted. I use mine for all tabletop use
Hello /u/FoxyPMC
First of all the Amazon link you mentioned is for the Japanese version, not the American one that was released today by us. Here's the correct one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HCZGB8S/
About BestBuy is really weird, I don't know why they choosed that name, but I'm getting in contact with them as we speak.
We also mentioned before that "The Last Recital" features are exclusive for PS Vita.
https://twitter.com/PMStudiosUSA/status/1083631607158730753?s=19
Thank you for the PSA! And we hope everyone enjoy the game~
Using a Plugable USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter (ASIX AX88179 chipset same as the UGREEN), and have had the "Console warm to the touch when connected to ethernet in Sleep Mode" issue since the 5.0 patch. This did not happen prior to that patch. My understanding is that the change in 5.0 that caused this is that the Switch remains connected all the time while in sleep mode, instead of periodically waking for software update checks.
Unplugging the far end ethernet jack and leaving the ethernet adapter connected to the console will correct the issue, and the console will not be warm to the touch in this state. Which seems to suggest the issue is indeed related to the constant connection and update checks, and not the usb adapter itself being powered on while in sleep.
I do not have the other issue OP mentioned, my network switch still shows connected in sleep mode when plugged in, which is why issue #1 is present due to the constant connectivity. I would like to see the port actually make use of its USB 3.0 hardware capabilities, but this is very minor, and only mildly useful for people with 500Mbps+ internet, and won't help gameplay much if at all, just downloads.
Hijacking the top comment to share a bit of news: it's been confirmed to be a Russia exclusive bundle. The boxes were ordered and designed by Nin.Ru and probably were just badly designed, thus the picture quality. Sorry to get your hopes up, it honestly didn't look like something they would do for only one country.
Your analog stick isn't broken. What happens is that when you play, dust and dirt get stuck in the part of the joystick under the rubber flap, and are wedged against the side of the stick. The dirt pushing on it makes the Joy-con think you're moving.

The gunk underneath can be removed by lifting up the rubber flap and blowing a can of compressed air and WD-40 contact cleaner into it. Let it dry for a few hours, then enjoy.

Nintendo, why didn't you just make a bigger flap.
Alot more stable than wifi thats for sure, only thing you have to make sure is that you dont undock your switch mid battle or else you will probably have a disconnect (bc its switching back to wifi).
Go with the Ugreen 3.0 lan adapter, same chipset as the official licenced one but not bottlenecked and allot cheaper
https://www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Gigabit-Network-Ethernet-1000Mbps/dp/B00MYTSN18
Can be found on amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D159YQQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PCBXybR1YC3R7
Fits the pro controller perfectly and has room for a charging cord. I got this for an upcoming flight and although I enjoy the joy cons, playing Zelda with the pro controller is my preference.
amFilm has great tempered glass screen protectors that you can get pretty cheap on Amazon:
You'll definitely want to apply it yourself though, as it's very tricky (I've even screwed it up a few times myself).
I bought one of these 2 months ago! They’re called “Gooseneck tablet holders” on amazon here
They’re awesome for playing in bed, or without cramping your hands on the couch... for a few weeks. I have a Malm headboard that is 1.7” thick. It claims it can clamp up to 3”. It can’t. The clamp is plastic and will fail.
If you’re using it on a <1” board or side table it should work well, just be wary of adjusting the arm while it is clamped down, or it will break.
The stand I’m replacing it with has an aluminum clamp and multi hinged arm so hopefully it won’t fail spectacularly (switch fell on my face while in bed).
However, there are third party cases to hold the proprietary guts in the dock. BASSTOP's Switch dock shell comes with the tools you need, takes about 30 minutes to transfer. It fits in the palm of your hand & fits in a lot of carry cases.
Unfortunately controllers are pricey no two ways about it. Would something like a controller grip make the joycons usable?
https://www.amazon.com.au/Orzly-Compatible-Nintendo-Joy-Cons-Comfort/dp/B072BNFM1P
Joycons are AUD94 a pair on amazon at least you’d get 2x for that plus the 16 for grips. Plus no hassle setup as they’re Nintendo made not 3rd party
You might find better options just my 2cents
Pacha from Emperors new groove. someone photo-shopped him to make him white though rather than Aztec or Mayan. here's the original.
Easy. There are four triwing screws on the backplate. Once those are out, the case comes off(with a little force), and there's one tiny Philips head screw on the bracket. Take that out, and do the same for the other joy cons. Switch them out, and put them together. Boom. Really no risk of breaking anything.
Edit: had to special order the screwdrivers. They were like five bucks on Amazon.
Edit: screwdrivers i used - Foxnovo 5pcs Triwing Trigram Y-Tip Screwdrivers Screw Drivers for Nintendo Wii /DS /DS Lite /GBA (Red) (Red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KXSVBL6/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apap_NZCkErRiJYk7x
Not the OP but he didn't just say regular old WD-40 like you're asking about. He said WD-40 electric contact cleaner. Take a look here...
https://www.amazon.com/GIDDS-302932-Specialist-Electrical-Contact-Cleaner/dp/B07H8VFTST
Basically, you'd spray it under the rubber flap for the joystick to remove any dust and other crap that are causing them to drift. It evaporates super fast and won't cause any rusting, which is why you are able to safely use it. Please, don't just go spraying WD-40 lubricant inside your joycons lmao.
To everyone who sees this out there, seriously consider doing the following:
Enable 2FA (Two Factor Authentication). This is an extra security step that will prevent people who know your password from logging in.
Register your email with https://haveibeenpwned.com/ They will notify you if an account associated with your email has been hacked.
If you think "I don't need this, who would target me?", remember that these attacks are not targeted. They are often blanket, lowest-hanging fruit attacks, which probably includes you if you don't take any precautions.
Edit: If you don't believe me, CTRL + F for "Epic Games" https://haveibeenpwned.com/PwnedWebsites
I think I'll end up getting the "Link's Tunic" one since it looks sturdier and the case overall looks really cool.
Sure but other people have already done that. This is the kit I bought. It includes screws and screwdrivers and spudgers, and metal clips so your joycons won’t slide off the rails without pressing the button.
This is the guide I followed. Spawn Wave has another video showing how to replace the clips.
The biggest tip I have is to provide downward pressure while unscrewing the tri-wing screws on the outside. They strip easily. The kit comes with extra just in case, but it’s best to be safe.
If it helps any, the Catan card game is a lot of fun. I prefer it over the boardgame, largely due to the price, minimal set up, and ease of play. It's not a perfect translation, obviously. But it's a great time at a fraction of the price.
Get whichever of these two is cheapest:
128GB Evo Select MicroSD Card
128GB Sandisk Ultra MicroSD Card
Never go for the cheapest available. A lot of those $10 no name cards are fakes. Stick with one of the above.
FYI this is not official twitter account. And ea.com says:
Porting Apex Legends to its smallest screen yet is a major achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without our friends at Panic Button.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/amp/news/switch-launch-march-2021
By the way, it also says, that we will get 30 levels of battle pass and double xp in the first two weeks.
> Q: When will the Better Together Update launch? > A: The Better Together Update will launch this Autumn, once it’s ready and we’ve satisfactorily evicted bugs from the premises.
It was originally slated for Summer. EDIT: Original source of Summer release
> So this Summer, all platforms receiving the Better Together Update...
I think it may be a good idea to try something like this. I think one of the problems of using regular electrical contact cleaner is the cleaner will dry out the little bit of lubricant in the joystick. Without lubricant the contacts in the joystick will start to wear down and I think this is why people are saying the problem will come back and sometimes it will come back worse. The Faderlube has lubricant and contact cleaner in it and I use just a small amount on anything with dirty pots and it’s very good. However I have not personally tried it on my switch, I never had a joycon issue.
dude I tried making a joke in my original comment about SMB and SMT being close in name and you have to come in here and be a party pooper.
The first Persona game was literally called Shin Megami Tensai: Persona. I've played it. The SMT IP is leveraged to create the spin-offs. acting like "SMT" can't be used to refer to anything in the Amala Multiverse is asinine gatekeeping.
Hijacking the top comment to say Captain Toad is $40 on Amazon right now.
Edit: It occurs to me that since pricing hasn't been confirmed yet, we don't actually know which is the correct price. $40 could just as likely be an incorrect placeholder as well. Just to be safe, I went ahead and preordered on Amazon at $40. Can always cancel later on anyway.
Here's a link to Fighter Z running on lowest settings. https://kotaku.com/dragon-ball-fighterz-on-lowest-settings-is-like-going-b-1822467411
It totally looks like Extreme Butoden on the 3DS! Both these games have an incredible artstyle. Butoden's pixel art has incredible depth, and Fighter Z's lighting makes the models look flat like anime characters.
You're actually wrong. Nintendo Switch is getting the Super Duper Graphics update. It won't get the 4k capabilities. The XBOX 1 X and PCs will get the best experience.
States it in this article:

Here’s the catch: the Super Duper Graphics pack is also coming to lots of other platforms, including Xbox One S, PC and Switch, even mobile (unclear if/when it’s coming to PS4), basically everything that’ll be running the game on the new Bedrock Engine. “It will be anywhere that you can play Minecraft in the new version,” Egbert said. “It will improve any screen on which you play, but the best experience will be on Xbox One X.”
This one works on all consoles and all controllers and is wireless and quite awesome
I would not trust something that comes with mods. That sounds like you would be banned instantly
the Switch only has 32GB of storage, some of that eaten by the system OS. One of the wii U's biggest flaws was not enough internal storage. 32GB won't even fit Grand theft Auto 5 or Doom (2016). It does have a SD card slot, but even the wii U had that and it still failed to have big, 3rd party downloadable games
theres only 4 launch titles so far. 1,2, Switch which is just more motion control minigames, Zelda, Just Dance and Skylanders. Only ONE of those interests me, guess which.
paid online, the only perk of it is ONE "free" NES or SNES game. They might have added online support but Nintendo could stop that at anytime, for any reason. At best, it's the same game from well over 20 years ago. Are you excited for the prospect of getting Balloon Fight for "free" in 2017?
Hi! I'm FibreTigre, co-creator of Out There. Out There is very different from FTL: there is no battles at all! It's a pretty realistic vision of space, which deals with the loneliness of a traveller in the abysses of the galaxy... it's also a game where you have to understand aliens, by talking to them... it's a survival game, in the sense that you have to understand the secrets of the universe to master them, and go further, or survive another day! There are a lot of written adventures too.

Typical fucken AU Amazon, where the price right now is only $379.53AU or $266.96USD
the card in OP is U1 rated, meaning a guaranteed minimum speed of 10MB/s (theoretical much higher).
I had two different pairs of left joycons drift on me.
Finally said fuck it and bought a $20 adaptor that lets me use my PS4 DualShock controller on my Switch. I’ve had that thing since the PS4 launched and have had zero issues with it. Switch just sees it as a Switch Pro controller. Works brilliantly, even wireless, rumble, and gyro.

The licensed LAN adapters are pretty overpriced as they are. Most LAN adapters that are compatible with Switch can be found for far less than the standard Hori
I personally use one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LLUEJFU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_M.Z5Bb6EPC3RV
Everything mentioned here is great advice. I would only add to get a carrying case and screen protector. As for games the Pokémon: Let’s Go games, you can play coop and help him, and any Lego game are also great for kids.
> [a huge amount of features in an impossibly small package]!"
The actual circuit board is tiny. Hell you can buy 3rd party enclosures that just hold the circuit board.
All that people want is one of those from Nintendo. I don't know about you but I don't want to put my dock into a bag where the open part will just get bent. Which would be useful for a 1-2 week vacation for TV setup in a hotel/house rental/etc. Even more so for people with travel based jobs where they spend a lot of time in hotel rooms at the end of the day.
Avoid. Actual speeds are too slow for switch use.
For $4 more, you can get one of the best microsd cards available in the same size.
Yes, folks should pay attention to the different modes shipped with TVs these days. They are confusing and often serve little more than to have a shiny demo in a store.

I got the $12 official stand by Hori shortly after launch and it has served me incredibly well. Gets it up off the table a bit so you can charge while you play, and collapses when not in use so it takes almost no space on a desk or in a bag. My favorite Switch accessory by far.

This is the portable charger I purchased. It's $50 and it has worked perfectly fine so far but I haven't owned it for very long. It takes a few hours to fully charge the Switch but it can be used while the Switch is on.
Please, don't do that. That's the dumbest plan I've ever heard.
At least buy a used one (so that you can give a little less money to the company that sells you faulty hardware) and just fix the controllers yourself. It's CRIMINALLY easy. If you're good with your hands (even being able to use chop sticks is good enough) it'll take 30 minutes MOST. if you're a clumsy person, I'm going to say 4 hours for two controllers is the peak time.
Please please please don't give them 100 extra dollars, plus 80 Everytime they sell you a faulty product. Just think about how that sounds.
If you want I'll even PERSONALLY walk you through the entire repair process for free through twitch or YouTube live. Just anything but your first plan.
15 dollars for parts and tools
Edit: to be clear that's enough to replace 2 controllers thumbsticks.
Looks cool, very cool. Thank god they didn't use the face they use on Google Play, that one is awful... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ngame.allstar.eu&hl=es
Also one thing, it's already available?
It’s probably an implementation of nVidia’s Shadowplay technology which can be used to record or stream with little to no gpu/cpu overhead.
