I've put it on my Google Drive folder in case people can't/don't want to download torrents. All you need to download it is a Google (Gmail) account.
There's other Opeth stuff there (including that 5.1 downmix of Still Life that doesn't seem to exist on the internet any more), so feel free to download as you please.
You could always do a YouTube to mp3 convert online. Or if you don't want that, I could upload them to my Google Drive, all you need is a Google (Gmail) account as far as I know.
I know it's probably not what you had in mind, but it saves you from torrenting.
Edit: I have other Opeth stuff on there, feel free to download as you please.
You can download the torrents which is what I did. I've also put it on my Google Drive folder in case people can't/don't want to download torrents. All you need to download it is a Google (Gmail) account.
Edit: as always, there's other Opeth stuff there (including that 5.1 downmix of Still Life that doesn't seem to exist on the internet any more), so feel free to download as you please.
Amazon is usually a safe bet, but here's the discogs page of Heritage for some more options. It lists all the releases of the album. You can click the "Vinyl and CD" button on the right to see people selling the record.
Castlevania
Season 1 Coming July 7
2017 | TV-MA
A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. Inspired by the classic video games.
Love this song, tons of fun to play on guitar. I've wanted to record a cover of it for a while but that interlude with the clean guitar is pretty tricky. Of course Mikael makes it look easy...
This fuckin' riff though... FUN -- https://clyp.it/miljydfz
I think I'll just make a full thread about it so it gets more visibility. I just discovered that too it's pretty mind blowing. I found out about it from this youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCayFt3qQH-WqZzPxF1A55sg/videos where the guy does that with many albums and his tastes seems to revolve around prog, so there's porcupine tree, anathema, storm corrosion, pink floyd etc.
He uploaded many of those on his piratebay account, the same as the opeth torrent
https://thepiratebay.org/user/_bucaneer/
and just recently offered the script on his torrents to those adept who would like to do themselves with their 5.1 mixes.
The mixing. For the vinyl, new Stereo mixes by Steve Wilson (Deliverance) and Bruce Soord (Damnation). For the CD/digital, new Stereo and 5.1 mixes by Bruce Soord (Deliverance) and Steven Wilson (Damnation). It was a little confusingly marketed at the time, and I'm not even sure the respective discogs pages have the difference noted properly, but you can see it on the old release info for both versions on Amazon here and here. Personally I think Wilson's remix of Deliverance for the vinyl is fine.
Still available @ amazon france.
yeah man. I know I said I have 3 of them, but I think at the time I wrote that I just meant I have 3 flags of that style, but they're not all for Opeth. But here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/omerch-Opeth-Fabric-Poster-Flag/dp/B07XGC7GW1/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1UCH44TQSU2F0&keywords=opeth+flag&qid=1660416765&sprefix=opeth+flag%2Caps%2C138&sr=8-2
there's also a similar one for Sorceress. Hope this helps!
You're right, it's still a bit off. If you download the actual powertab file and powertab editor you can change the tempo as low as you want and listen to the notes as they're played (as midi). This might help you figure out which notes aren't quite right (though maybe it's just the position that needs to change).
I have the older edition:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1423406443/
Any particular song you'd like? It's at my office along with all my other tab books, but I'll be there later in the week and I have a decent scanner.
Discogs is the place to be. I managed to get mine for under £35 (new, the green ltd. record store day pressing), but it's one of the most limited Opeth records currently. If someone has it though and is looking to part with it, it'll probably be on Discogs.

I've got it on my computer, would you mind downloading the song for yourself if I put it on my Google Drive or Dropbox or something? I don't fancy uploading it to YouTube.
Just in case anyone else wants it: Google Drive link, I'll probably be keeping it there for a while (you'll need a Google account to access it).
My wife uses the standard foam ones from CVS or whatever and is fine with them, but I switched to these back in 2013 and haven't used the disposable ones since then.
Thanks for the post,
Do you have a turn table set up by chance? If you do, I have this LP version of Morningrise and it sounds phenomenal. The best I have ever heard it.
First of all: Your mix sounds amazing, thanks for sharing. But did you know that there are ways to convert multichannel sources to "virtual" binaural stereo recordings? Firstly I tried to mix Still Life using ffmpeg and the sofalizer plugin (Linux user here), but was not lucky, the result sounded like shit. But after you mentioned you were using foobar I stumbled upon this plugin which seems to make a similiar approach. I will give it a shot this weekend and let you know about the results, if you are interested.

I bought an Ibanez RG421 MOL when I first started. It's a decent guitar for its price.
I've moved on to Schecter now. The cheaper models are a bit more expensive than the one you listed, but the quality for money is insane.
Ok I discovered something weird and maybe you nice folks here can help. Amazon has two listings with different ASINs. One is a single disc and other other is two discs.
The first one here is not in stock by Amazon (2 CD), but the second seems to be (1 CD):

What's up with this?
I agree with the previous comments - it's highly venue-specific, plus where you are relative to speakers. I also agree with volume overall, i've found i get uncomfortable at high volumes (i guess more easily than others?)
I've been using these earplugs for years - same brand, but earlier model. i can't imagine they've changed all that much. They remove that upper edge of volume that hurts, causes damage, and just plain blows without muffling out the general sound quality. Only downside is they tend to itch a little bit, so takes some getting used to. Mileage may vary, but that's my suggestion along with "i feel your pain."
I have a couple questions about vinyls. I currently don't have any so I'm new to all this vinyl stuff. However, I want to start collecting them from my favorite bands. Do you buy them all online? Also, what do you use to play them? A quick amazon search shows me I should probably buy this turntable.
