I decided to try my luck to be put on a waiting list on Amazon for a ps4 digital with no ratings. I got the confirmation today that I can purchase. Is this legit?

If I understand correctly, SMS alerts on that channel can send you a text once the console is available at a nearby store for you to pick up and purchase (target, best buy). But hey, if you're fine with waiting, then you'll just purchase one stress free when the time is right. 👍 Last thing I'll say is that you can hop in the queue on Amazon and PlayStation Direct if you haven't already.

Yeah. I'm not after digital myself so I decided to check the disc link (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DFCB66S) and 10 min before the digital drop, they had a bunch in stock but said nothing of it. Then after the digital drop, that link had more.
Mind though, these were not new consoles but used/like new and from the warehouse but I sure as heck wouldn't mind them since they were cheaper and fast Amazon shipping. They went instantly of course but I managed to get one in my cart, just not checked out.

Make sure you have a prime subscription, this is a prime-only drop: Amazon Prime customers will be given priority access to the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition on 3/30 at 8am PST.

Just want to make sure the information is good, because people have been getting roped into a myriad of memberships (sam's club, walmart+, best buy, amazon) and if it's not necessary, the cost can easily balloon for membership fees alone.
Sure! So, first you’ll need to download and install Node JS.

Next you’ll need to use a command line tool. And you’ll have to install git to clone his repository or you can just download a zip of it from that GitHub page.
Then once you have that unzipped or cloned, you use your command line tool to change into the directory of the script.
Then run this without quotes: “npm install” this downloads dependencies to run said script. Then I think it is “npm run watch” to start it. The author has more in depth details on testing it too on that GitHub page.
