Yeah, is definitely not the best setup but with some tinkering it would probably be fine for the user that wants to use the Kishi everywhere. Was talking about these adapters, paired with a female type C to another C/A end (with a decent lenght). Faintly reminds me of that old Dragon Quest blue controller...
Another way is probably modifying the top of the kishi so any cable can go through it, but that's already a bit extreme to my liking.

Idk if it's any good, but it has PD charging AND an audio jack.
Idk why usb c controllers backed away from adding an audio jack, but some older controllers have them.
Something like this might work. I use it for my split pad which is a little wider and longer than the standard switch. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091C2JBSQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got these two products and they worked pretty well.

I wasn't very clear in my question i guess, but I'm mostly curious about the fit of the mount. The extension cable i have works great with the Kishi and tablet i have. I'm able to play emulators and Steam Link just fine.
I have a Galaxy S22, and the case I use daily is this. It unfortunately does not fit. I can take the spacers out, or use the small spacers, and it SHOULD work, but what happens is the area on the USB-C port is built up a little, and I think that area is causing the USB-C to not seat into my phone with the case on.
If the USB-C was just sticking out, and it didn't have that build up/support ridge, it would most likely be fine, but unfortunately it fails here.

I have one for my S21 and it's a perfect fit! It's like razer know what they were doing when the dropped the kishi!
You're limited by the length of the cable. At the very least you'll need to buy one new ribbon cable and an extender PCB.
Here's the extender on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SVM6D6G/ . You need a cable that matches the same spec. At the very least you'll need to open the Kishi to do this mod and it would make it unwieldy to use with your Note after that.
I did a similar mod for my old Galaxy S3. I no longer used either the Kishi or the Galaxy so I cut into the kishi so it would hug the tablet like it hugs phones, did the cable mod, and hot glued the whole mess together. It makes both devices unusable outside of this specific use case but works really well.
I purchased this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092969QCT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
Fits perfectly!
Thanks. Did you see my comment here with some pics etc? There's not much more than that to describe tbh. Just buy one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Switch-Joy-Comfort-Black/dp/B01MS7YUA7/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=powera+switch+grip&qid=1631469643&sr=8-3
Unscrew the joycon rail piece then dremel/saw off the handles. Line them up how you want them and stick them on with the double sided no more nails strips. Way more comfortable.
