Amazon automatically cancelled my preorder for the blue Genesis controller (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NXX77V1) "due to a lack of availability" in an email I received almost 2 hours ago. I placed a preorder the day they went up. Do you know what's going on? Is Amazon still going to sell the controllers?
Here's the amazon page for North America: https://www.amazon.com/sales-North-America%E3%80%91SEGA-Genesis-Mini-%E3%83%9E%E3%82%B7%E3%83%B3%E9%9D%9E%E4%BE%9D%E5%AD%98/dp/B0B4D19JJ4/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3LDJCI0THQQ0T&keywords=sega+genesis+mini+2&qid=1667531850&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjUz...
Shipping isn't free with prime since it's from Japan, there's no free shipping.
Original reviews were bad. AtGames pushed the release date and worked to fix them. Sounds like they are better now, but not amazing, from Kotaku's new review.

Super monkeyball deluxe for the original xbox does have all the levels of 1+2+japanese arcade but i believe you should get 2 for the gamecube first just because it's more accessable and has tons of gameplay by itself anyway. Also you simply cant go wrong with the gamecube remote. Zero complaints about smb2.
BONUS:
Also i posted this recently in r/patientgamers: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I so highly recommend:
Super Monkey Ball...STEP N ROLL! (wii)
This is the most fun you will ever have with the Wii Balance Board, and honestly this is the game that should have been bundled with the device in the first place.
Monkeyball is known for it's easy to learn - difficult to master approach, and that is no exception for Step n Roll. Although you can turn the balance board setting off, it's the perfect twist for super monkey ball fans. It's like having an arcade game in your living room. You will look silly- but that's half the fun! Also, for as light-hearted as this game looks: it requires MAD FOCUS/COORDINATION. I'm addicted, and most days I even break a sweat!
Step n Roll: the most underrated monkey ball game.
This is the specific one in the photo.
I also have this one for OG Saturn and I’m able to use the USB dongle from either to connect to either controller as well as connect the Genesis controller to the OG Saturn dongle (which plugged into the Saturn of course).
I found this article on Kotaku

Hey friend. Sega Japan just opened up preorders for the North American version to Canada.
You can find it here. If you prefer the Genesis branding over the Euro version, this is it.
>Does these actually work or are they just models?
The electronics are all in the Tiny Genesis mini replicas. The Sega CD attachment is just a fancy shell that replicates the look of the original w/functional lid and tiny replica CD.
The tiny Genesis in the picture is the first Sega Genesis mini, released back in 2019. The upcoming Genesis mini 2 will look like the 2nd, smaller Genesis model from back in the day. It will have Sega CD games built-in this time around.

You can snag a usb disc drive on Amazon for like $15!
Or just keep an eye out at thrift stores as they show up there pretty regularly. I picked one up the other day for $5!
I actually bought the Aleste Collection bundle on Amazon Japan when it first came out. Looks like most of the individual game gear minis are no longer available but I saw this link. Probably cheaper on eBay or yahoo auctions Japan.
You can still get them at MSRP on Amazon Japan.
Interestingly, the other colors are currently cheaper than MSRP there... Could be why the eBay prices are currently similar.

CD Projekt S.A.
Their Gog.com distribution service might get a really big boost from Sega's IP library; and others in the industry might have to pay them to get their games in their platforms.
P.D: In the oposite situation; Sega buying either Robot Cache or Roblox corporation would a good investment for them. For the chance of using their in-game paying systems to simplify customer to enterprise payments might be a great help.
Best way to use it unmodified is with a brook wingman. They added support for the astro city mini arcade stick and gamepads https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B82M9TG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_YRFDD8G9B1EMW2M9R5HC
XE for use with playstation. XB for use with xbox.
The Sega Genesis Flashback is listed on Amazon as being made by Sega.. I didn't realize Sega actually produced that Sega Flashback; I thought it was some knockoff system. If Sega made that, then why is Sega making a new Genesis Classic mini console?
It's no secret that the GameGear gets quite heavy and uncomfortable after some time with 6 AA's (this goes for the TurboExpress and Nomad AA battery pack too). For some time, I have been considering getting a rechargeable battery mod done, but that would require cutting the plastic battery rails in the battery compartment and not to mention about $100 + shipping from me to the modder and back. I don't particularly like cutting the plastic in older consoles even though I did have the McWill screen mod done, but I felt it was a MASSIVE enough improvement that it was worth it-- playing on a stock GameGear screen is just as painful as looking into the sun. Anyways, I came across these AAA to AA lightweight plastic adapters and thought I'd give them a go. Man, is the GameGear so much lighter and fun to play with. My next step is to pair these bad boys with some rechargeable AAA Eneloop Pro's and then I think my quest to get the most juice and weight reduction will be over.

Are you sure we using the same one?
There are instructions in the manual which have button combos to switch (no pun intended) the controller input for PC, Steam, Switch, Genesis Mini, Other USB etc
The Amazon Title says Switch, as well as on the box, and works plug in play out of the box
Is it better to get a sega genesis emulator and roms and use this as controller?
would an xbox 360 controller work?
I read it's a 9V DC adapter. You can get something like this but you have to make sure the plug-end fits into the console: http://www.ebay.com/itm/9V-1A-Power-Supply-Adapter-AC-DC-Transformer-5-5mm-x-2-1-2-5mm-600mA-400mA-/162352689981?hash=item25ccf9733d:g:NjsAAOSwUKxYdCbp
Alternatively you can get a universal adapter like this; it's what I use for various things and it usually works: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Power-Powerline-Universal-Adapter/dp/B00T9PI2DE/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1486757428&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=powerline+universal
I'll do one better, here's a link to some used ones for sale ~$10 on amazon. I'm sure you could find one NIB if you looked hard enough, but it would cost you 4x that at the very least.
They don't make it themselves, but it's officially licenced by Sega. The Genesis Classic Game Console console has been out for a while, It also plays real Genesis games. I've seen it at Toys R Us, and Target. Also Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Genesis-AtGames-Classic-Game-Console-Electronic/dp/B00K2CXNPU/ref=dp_ob_title_vg
FYI, Outrun 2006 is not the same as Outrun 2. The tracks differ. The original XBOX port of Outrun 2 is the way to go (It's also includes the original Outrun).
I second the recommendation of Hardcoregameing101. They also have a fantastic book with details the ports of many of these games
Well, cool! :) Great video. Brought back a lot of nostalgia.
I was a huge Sega fanboy back in the day. Still am, but only for the old Sega when they did hardware, too. Back then, Sega could do no wrong. Saturn was better than PS. Dreamcast... well, Dreamcast was always better than the PS2 and possibly the Xbox. Just a great system. Genesis (or as the YouTube hard core guys - Mega Drive) was awesome. Sega Master System.... Memories. But, the SMS wasn't the first Sega console.
Have you read the book 'Service Games: Rise and Fall of Sega'? Great book for anyone interested in Sega - http://www.amazon.com/Service-Games-Rise-Fall-SEGA/dp/1463578474
Great video, BTW. Subscribed to check out your others.
There's also This
But I don't know what it's like
You can use This adapter then buy up some authentic Saturn controllers.
I recommend the arcade stick!
