I buy covers on Amazon for my VStrom 1000 and my FJR1300. They last about 12 to 16 months in my environment. These are great.
I.m in central Florida with no garage so the bikes (and subsequently the covers) are out in the sun and humidity all the time.
I bought a higher-end one once, and it didn't last a full year in these conditions...
Affordable parts are all over amazon, ebay and elsewhere. I wouldn't waste money putting on OE turn signals since they're going to be expensive and they stick out and break off.
When mine broke off I got a cheap set like this. If you have to have ones that stick out, maybe look at the Buell ones - they' flex like a pool noodle.
Ive been using this on my Wee for the last 2 years. aside from the bungee clips falling off, no tears and the large fits perfectly.
The audio quality, range, compatibility, and group integration is fantastic. Looks nice, too.
I have the RAM X Grip:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055PH0XA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As well as the RAM U-bolt clamp for the bars and the swivel arm to connect the two. It's very solid and has lasted years on the bike. Maybe the knock-offs are OK as well? It's all just plastic I guess.
For me, any mount that requires a bulky, special case is a deal breaker, but if you don't mind that, I imagine it's a more solid attachment? Although I've never worried at all about my phone coming out of the RAM, as long as I'm using the rubber webbing stuff.
I replaced my 12v with one of these - 12V USB Outlet 2 Pack, Dual Quick... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0963GQ6RW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have a SAE pigtail off my battery and have 12v and USB adapters to plug in as needed.
You might have an issue with heat that's created by the circuitry.
A good way to avoid vibrations might be to run a 12V extension to your tank bag and put the phone charger in there. If there's any padding in your tank bag, it should reduce vibrations enough.
If your tank bag has no padding, get some foam or a camera bag divider (if you have some) and put it under your adapter.
It's this one on Amazon. Best $30 I've ever spent.
i've got one of these. it's not bad. install is trivial and it's cheap.
I just Amazon-d one. This is the one I purchased. I found most to be extremely overpriced though, especially ones by Suzuki. This one was 25ish USD when I purchased it. I've had it for 2 years and never had a problem with it.
Its a air cushion, comes with a hand pump. Been a real ass-saver, really nice in hot weather too
I went with this kind of throttle lock.. Flick of the thumb locks the throttle in place but can still be forced off easily. Another thumb flick and it's off. Been on my bike for 2 years and the only complaint is occasionally needing to tighten the locking nut.
I've had a set of these carbon-fiber-look EMGOs on my 650 for probably 13 years now. It makes people a double-take and it makes me giggle whenever I look at them. Not much for wind protection though.

These are 27 liters each. They stick out about another 8 in from the rack.

neat, thanks for posting
Which Fiamm part number/numbers?
I had a Stebel Nautilus horn (pretty much identical to this: https://www.amazon.com/Stebel-Nautilus-Compact-Motorcycle-Horn/dp/B003ET0JJQ) on my 2007 DL1000. It was on there when I got the bike so I don't know how the stock horn sounded, but the Stebel was LOUD. It pulled enough watts that I could put the battery into discharge if I stayed on the horn.
I haven't opened up the fairing on my 2019 DL650 yet, but I suspect there is not enough room inside even for the "compact" Stebel Nautilus. 2019 fairing is a slimmer design compared to the 2007 DL1000.
Sure, here you go (2nd link) - not available atm, but to give you an idea - play the search terms

I ordered 2 sheets of this to make one for each side. You can definitely do it with one, but I wanted to make sure I had enough. 3rd pic is the template I used. Cut out with a utility knife and then shaved down the edges roughly with it. Used heat gun to bend just left of where the '6.5"' is on the template. I made them with the rough side of the plastic out, so the template would need flipped for the left side. Also used a heat gun to heat up where the hole is and then put the screw in and tightened it down as it cooled to mold into the space. Hole size of 11/32 should fit the stock screw perfectly.
Yeah, that's what I have, too, but you can buy this (or a million others like it--I have a super cheap alternative that works fine with my X-grip, which is exactly the kind you have), and it helps immensely at keeping your phone from flying away!
Great work. Very professional and tidy. I bet suzuki steals your "powered panniers" idea for their next refresh.
This comes to mind when I see your set up. Hot meals on the go!
I run a Regina setup on my '07 wee. Second one thus far. First one gave me every bit of 30,000 miles. No complaints. Never ridden the stock setup so don't have much to compare to.

Second the Beamtech's, great upgrade for the price. If you have ever wondered about upgrading to LED's this is a great $39 option.

I just bought this from Amazon. I've only had it on for one day, but it made a big difference for me with air around my helmet. I have the stock windshield, but I went from a ton of turbulence around my helmet to very little.
DID x-ring chain and sprocket kit, which is sold on amazon, is the one I've used. So far I've eeked out more than 15k miles on the last two sets, but I am fairly compulsive about my maintenance/lube/cleaning.
Since I'm being overly clever already, I might go for an internally-illuminated rocker switch, such that I can find it in the dark.
Or I might be better off with a covered rocker switch, like this guy:
https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-90014E-Rocker-Toggle-Warranty/dp/B07QKFD7Z7
That way the inside-case lighting wouldn't get accidentally activated by things carried.
There might be such a thing as a switch that is both internally lit AND covered, but I haven't seen one so far.
As for room for all this: There are some internal strengthening ribs in the K48 case that might be good places to tuck wiring and/or switches.
I'm about to order the parts (SMD LED strip and such) from Amazon. I'm sure I'll end up posting about this project in excessive detail, including photos, soon on the Stromtrooper forums.
A note about power consumption: It's probably worth thinking about at least. All of this will draw on the Signals circuit. It is fused at 15A, but I have LED tail lamps and the existing LED signal bars only draw a few watts each, so I should be well under max capacity. I don't use the factory heated grips connector, which is on the same circuit.
Fusing might be worth talking about too. Right now everything is protected by that 15A mini fuse in the box near the battery. So if one of my Chinesium LED devices decides to go tits-up & tries to draw infinite current, I lose all the tail lights & the instrument cluster. Not ideal.
