Greetings. Just FYI a pumice stone can actually spread the wart virus around. What is better are disposable sterilized scalpels (like this) or even fingernail clippers, sanitizing them with alcohol between uses. Wear gloves.
> common warts are actually an infection in the top layer of skin, caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus, or HPV, family.
I'm an RN, and if you were my patient in the hospital I would rub this stuff all over your feet to protect the exposed tender areas that have peeled off:
https://www.amazon.com/ConvaTec-Aloe-Vesta-Protection-Ointment/dp/B003XCRA00
It's magic.
If your open wounds don’t heal before you go to the beach, I’d give this a try: Tattoo Aftercare Waterproof... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZSGHJZ9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It sticks super well, and makes a watertight seal. When I used it for my last tattoo, I was able to leave it on for 3 days with no problem, and it would have definitely stayed on longer had I not taken it off!
I’m not a doctor or medical professional but
Corn= epidermis going into lower layers. Painful to palpation 24/7. Occurs for various reasons (tight shoes rubbing/contact with skin, bone spurs, genetically dispositioned, ect.) it will create a circle in the center, which pinches the nerves in the other dermal layers. Can occur in between toes, on top of toes, ect.
Callus= a thickened layer of epidermis. Occurs due to consistent contact, or friction with skin. Likely to occur on heel and bottom of foot. Generally is not painful except after repeat contact.
Both corns and callus are made up of your skin cells. A wart is composed of viral cells.
Edited to add this photo: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/medical-illustration-explain-callus-vs-corn-1508918783
I have always used a callus remover like this ZIZZON Foot Care Pedicure Callus Shaver Hard Skin Remover Wood Handle 10 Blades ZIZZON https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073VS2N6F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FTN2XP90S7RW3C52NFHT
That looks a lot better! For a squeamish little one, I’d recommend a foot rasp (like this one). It allows you to shave down the wart more efficiently than with a pumice stone and is just as gentle.
Compound W Wart Remover Fast Acting Gel, Maximum Strength Salicylic Acid, 0.25 oz, 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9SFN67/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VZK6Q1ZTJVA2HN57ZDEE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It does matter if you don't cover it because you can spread it, now, with that being said the fact it's on your hand makes it hard to keep covered. Do your best to keep it in mind and not be touching people or public object with it. There seems to be some correlation for people who are able to keep it covered saw faster results so it might be in your best interest anyway.
The bleeding seems to be common when using SA after awhile especially if you are taking off the top layer daily. From your photo looks like you're not getting enough of the top layer off. I'd get something like a foot shaver or scalpal knife. I'll post amazon link for example product. That foot shaver will take off a lot the scalpal will be easier to slowly take the top layers off, but be careful because you can cut healthy skin easily compared to the foot shaver.
Bleeding again is not uncommon and if it is bleeding your body is going to keep targeting that area for healing. That's a good thing because it will never go away without your body's immune system kicking it out. So get yourself immune boosters, zinc, vitamin c, b-complex, vitamin D.
If you do let it heal don't go for more than a day or two, this is not an over the night thing to take care of and if you don't stay at it you have to basically start over.

Says it's for electronics but I used it successfully on several warts. The trick is to freeze the thing for longer than you think. It will blister and pop over the next day. Let the skin heal. If you see even the slightest bump reforming, freeze it again. Repeat cycle until it doesn't come back. Usually it works after one or two tries for me. The key is to over freeze it. It doesn't hurt too bad either.
I bought some cuticle trimmers to cut away mt dead skin and i notice it helped a lot since they’re pretty thin but very sharp! cuticle clipper
It's this one...https://www.amazon.com/Wart-Stick-Strength-Remover-Ounce/dp/B00SHK1EFK
it's sac acid and I'm thinking that could be why the tape won't stick
I deeply apologize I meant this one
https://www.amazon.com/Boiron-Occidentalis-Homeopathic-Quick-dissolving-Ingredient/dp/B01NAUI4JE/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1CIIZN6UGUKSR&keywords=Boiron%2Bfor%2Bwarts&qid=1656694955&rdc=1&sprefix=boiron%2Bfor%2Bwarts%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-5&am... Take a look at the reviews.. in the photos a person says “totally got rid of my flat warts which is what you have. So sorry I got it wrong the first time. I usually don’t make those mistakes
When I had horrible foot warts which spread to my hands I went to see a dermatologist and he told me to take these with the treatment
Boiron Silicea, 30C Pellets, 80... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7PZM6M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
He told me his wife took them with her treatments. Has no proof they work but they seem to help his wife.
I wasn’t even treating the ones on my hand at the time (4 in total) they went away after a month or so. Again no proof they work other than personal experience. You take like 5 of them three times a day. Had the warts for like 5-6 years and tried everything so might be worth a shot.
I used this for mine and a lot of people do. There are plenty of them out there but these are sharp and the blades are disposable and super cheap.

One of these - they're advertised as 'Mole Remover Pens' which is what I used mine for! But it's just a small plasma/electrocautery pen.
NuDerma Portable Handheld High Frequency Skin Therapy Wand Machine w/Neon – Anti-Aging - Skin Tightening - Wrinkle Reducing - Dark Circles – Blemish Control - Hair & Scalp Stimulator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W5PD1KY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YCDHP307DCJFTQT89ACQ
You got a long way to go I'm afraid.
I found that scrubbing alone wasn't enough to get to the root of mine. I started putting salicylic acid on mine and then keeping it covered with duct tape to soften the skin. Once or twice a week I'd go at it with a foot file until I'd removed as much of the softened skin as possible without much pain. Then I would let it heal and start the cycle over again. Once I got closer to the end and had more healthy skin than wart I used a finer grit file until it was finally gone. Make sure to sterilize and/or replace the files fairly often.
I see other people recommending scalpels and razor blades but I don't think that's necessary if you're willing to be patient with the acid and the scrubbing. I wouldn't be confident enough in my own abilities to use anything that sharp on myself.
It increases the risk of spreading them if you do. I used these. You can purchase a handle if you want. I didn't.

I don't use razors at all, actually, I'm too worried about cutting myself on accident. I use emery boards like these: https://www.amazon.com/Revlon-Compact-Emery-Boards-Count/dp/B01LTI1ICA/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=emery+boards&qid=1647114948&sr=8-5
I throw them away after using them and do not use the same board on different warts. They're super cheap and disposable, so I can throw them away to minimize any transmission risk and I don't feel bad about it.

I just tried heat therapy for a small wart on my palm and for the first time ever I am hopeful. Someone had posted this on another thread: heat therapy and I got my moxa sticks on Amazon. My palm wart looks like it has dried up after treatment, so I guess it should fall off on its own in a few weeks.
I am currently treating some warts on my feet and this is the most pain free method. I just started a few days ago and it does take 30 minute session for three consecutive days per wart. One stick lasts 1.5 hours. I do the treatment in my back yard because I don’t want to smell up the house.
Also, I am working on two very large warts on my mom’s left sole, because she can’t do the treatment by herself (she is elderly). We have tried other methods and many are just too painful.
It’s worth a try.
We also are taking 50 mg of zinc daily to help our immune system.

I used these above, also these below- dermal curette

try this I have a wart on my fingertip and this changed my game. Stays on all day and you can barely feel it it’s so thin.
Definitely not dead… when I get warts I freeze the hell out of them. It hurts but I spray them for like 5-10 seconds with something like this from Amazon…BW-100 Freeze Spray - Diagnostic Cooling Spray - Safe for Semiconductors, Capacitors, PCBs and More - Non-Flammable Construction | 7 oz/200g https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089M4Y7NX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9SPNJQ020737CWFA4ESE
Only debride as much as you can comfortable tolerate. You want to expose the wart as much as possible but don’t make yourself bleed. cuticle clippers were my tool of choice. I would sometimes use an emery board, too.
I would clean the clippers with alcohol after each use and I wouldn’t reuse disposable emory boards.
The salicylic acid product creates a layer of rubbery, skin-like material when it dries. It adheres to the wart and surrounding skin. When you peel, it tugs on the wart. This will eventually remove the entire thing, revealing nothing but fresh, smooth pink skin beneath. Until then, it kills and removes the wart layer by layer, but dead skin and some leftover salicylic acid material will remain intact. Trim and file away as much of the dead skin and leftover SA product as you can comfortably tolerate. You don’t want to make it bleed, you just want to reveal as much of the healthy wart as possible so that you can apply fresh acid to the living part of the wart rather than to dead skin.
This is the type of cuticle clipper I used. They are more accurate than nail clippers but not as sharp and dangerous as nippers.
I just had cryotherapy for a different skin thing and the aftercare instructions (from Cleveland clinic, which is pretty much the best level of care in the US) said if a blister forms depending on how much it bothers you you can leave it intact or pierce it with a sterile needle/lancet to allow fluid to drain but leave the skin intact, just poke a tiny hole that's it!
You can get sterile needless or lancets at a pharmacy:

something like this?
Amazon, Pedicure shavers set. They’re sharp, very good for cutting, scraping out the dead infected wart skin. Highly recommend. I wipe and spray them down with Anti bac.

I was using the bandage version on my finger, but my skin is too sensitive. The adhesive is really strong, so it began to rip up my skin 0-o Now I use the gel on that one too and cover it with a weaker bandaid
Here’s a link to the wart bandaids tho. They’re worth buying a box since they’re super easy!

I mostly have warts on my feet. One spread to my finger a few months ago, and I am still struggling to cope knowing that my invisible problem is now visible and more contagious.
I’ve been covering with band aides. I switch up the size every few days to avoid the surrounding skin getting damaged.
My current fave: Amazon. They’re waterproof but not too sticky as to tear my skin off. They fall off a lot, so it’s good they’re cheap. But the thin and lightweight material makes them feel so much nicer while I’m doing my art and typing work

You could try dim supplements, it's supposed to work wonders against warts https://www.amazon.com/DIM-200-Now-Foods-VCaps/dp/B07FCXFLXQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=DIM+%28supplement%29&qid=1622511652&sr=8-14
I mean, I still get asked what the deal is, but they blend in more. I also tend to put a bandaid over it, just so they'll hold better, and that usually seems normal to people.
Yeah it does say boiron fingers crossed it works !! This has literally been the most annoying thing I’ve had and the fact that they’re multiplying is what’s making me a little worried it’s gotten out of control
I copied someone else in these threads and I clean my foot, debride a little bit, apply the desitin, give it a min or two to dry a little (it won’t dry completely but it gets thick) and then I put bandaids over that and then tape over that well with medical tape so that they stay, and so it’s safer to walk around/sleep etc. some people use duct tape but duct tape never stays on my foot on the spot the wart is at. I’ve been using nexcare waterproof tape, it’s stretchy and pretty comfortable!
Or people have put a square of duct tape on the wart and used medical tape to secure that. The tape stays pretty well all day/night for me, as long as you overlap the tape so it sticks to itself too and not just your skin. It’s only been a few days so idk what kind of progress I’ll have yet
I can’t find this exact label for some reason, is this the same thing?? It says 40% also Desitin Maximum Strength Baby Diaper Rash Cream

Working great so far. No pain, but I'm expecting some soon fun reading reviews. When I took off the first bandage, I was absolutely stunned that the top layer was gone.
This is a super small wart in my left thumb. I've had it for a long time, and have never been able to get rid of it because it's so small. Hard to grab on to. My dad, who is a podiatrist, has a nitrogen freezer. That didn't work at all except a fuck ton of pain. Too many nerve endings on the finger tips I think.
Here's hoping this works
Or this foot file. OP I know what you need for Christmas this year.
I like the #11 with handles. The handles really help get the correct positon and leverage on the skin.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EP0T1HY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Used the 40% SA wart strips off amazon:
And for cutting, just used a pairing knife that I sharpen regularly.
This really sucks. Could a doctor cut it out at this point? How are your vitamins? I had a large painful area too. Did several acid treatments at the doctors and it didn’t seem to be improving much especially with how immobile and in pain I was. This cheap Russian stuff from Amazon really did the trick. I used it probably three or four times, just once per week. With SA/duct tape at night. It hurt but not as bad as other treatments. I wasn’t sure it was working but after a few weeks I could scrap off skin and couldn’t find anymore warty tissue.

Yeah. They're my favorite.
Here's on in Amazon.

Those look like mosaic warts. Athlete's foot, though unpleasant, resolves fairly quickly.
I'd recommend compound w and some disposable scalpels.
I actually got a few from a doctor, but you can also take safety razor blades and carefully grab them by the sides and bend it gently into a Semi-U shape. I have also done that when I ran out of the two the doc gave me they are super cheap also These are the razor blades
Cuticle cutters, like a scissor ish version of nail clippers, like this one. Use it only for the wart, wipe down with alcohol before & after, and let air dry

i have warts like these under my finger nails and i’ve had them for a long time freezing didn’t work compound w never worked but this russian medication on amazon should turn your warts black within 2 days of first putting them on and then kill them https://www.amazon.com/Warts-Removal-Natural-Healing-Cistotelo/dp/B003JO9BI6
I found this on Amazon. I'm not endorsing that product but that'll probably give you an idea on price. I would use a local reliable pharmacy since you never know with Amazon.
Also if you read more about the study it seems to focus on viral warts. "Each patient had > 15 warts."
You're gonna have to peel off the yellow-white skin every day --- that's dead skin, and duct tape (and I recommend a 40% Salicylic Acid stick) doesn't work unless it's hitting the very top of the actual wart. Peeling off the dead skin is like 50% of the process.
I would:
Theres a specific tool for this on amazon called a "pedicure knife".

Check it: https://www.amazon.com/Pedicure-Ingrown-Correction-Nippers-Professional/dp/B07RYD9SC1

Btw I like using disposable razors with curved edges like this: https://www.amazon.com/Scientific-Labwares-793-160-Disposable-High-Carbon/dp/B079RJF45Q There are many options on Amazon. Pick up some gloves while you're at it if you don't have them already, this shit spreads when it's angry and the last thing you want is one on your hand. You can also buy cantharidin online if you're going off health insurance
