Right in the headline, it says "storms through to America’s Got Talent final with Simon Cowell’s full support". So she reached the Top 10 with Simon supporting that she reached the Top 10. Which was obvious even in the show. No news there. Nowhere in the article does it say Simon preselected her to win. There is not even a hint.
