It is now 4 years since Eve's authorized online store took my money, never sent a product, and lied to my credit card company to dodge my dispute. Since then, I have been told I would receive a refund "soon", "in June", etc from Eve over and over again. I received excuse after excuse about not enough funds available to issue a refund, while they put money into R&D'ing new products. I even offered to convert my order to the newer generation product instead. Nothing back but empty promises, and no taking responsibility for what their branded web store did to countless customers like me.
Do not give these liars your money!
Over 500 more zones of backlight, better backlight configurability than the Spectrum, over double the HDR brightness, and similar USB-PD (100W vs 90W). A no brainer for those who thought "maybe one-day Dough will re-stock this thing"

Also, the Dell AW2721D (1440p, 240Hz) is on sale today for $733 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LR145ZY
hey which cable do you use? do you have the amazon link for the cable you are using?
I am planning to get this
I picked up this and it's worked perfectly ever since.
Got the Spectrum at Micro Center on Sunday to start my new job that supplied me with a MBP with an M1 Pro chip.
Also found you need to go into the OSD and find the USB hub option to tell it to prioritize high refresh rate to gain 144Hz support. So far the monitor has worked well.
Are you saying that it is common for Chinese companies to spam their products with fake reviews to make people trust them? Did you know that Eve is a Chinese company? Do you know that there are much more "vocal haters" than actual happy customers according to Eve staff themselves? If there's so many haters how did they get the old Eve rating to 1.5 but just can't do anything to this new site?

If you seriously don't see anything factual about 1/5 of all reviews for a single product being 5 star, generic response spammed over the course of 2 days being anything other than fake, paid reviews, I don't think you and I can agree on anything.
I believe to update the firmware you need to use a usb-b 3.0 cable. As for connecting a laptop to the display I tried it with both a MacBook and a Dell XPS and could not get either to display. I believe it had something to do with the cable I was using. Please see the link for the cable you would require to update the display:
Fasgear [1m] Type C to USB B 3.0 Cable Nylon Braided USB C Male to Type B Male Cord (3ft, Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KF74YYT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WKF61NNMDNRBZDRQXKSS
So i was able to get it to work by using a thunderbolt 4 cable on amazon. here’s the one i got: [Intel Certified] Cable Matters 40Gbps USB4 Thunderbolt 4 Cable 2.6ft with 8K Video and 100W Charging - 0.8m - Backwards Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Cable and USB-C https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KSM2FWR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S1YDQ62WCE0H0728W5Z5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
hopefully this helps someone!
It's very annoying they are actually selling the Eve V in Amazon with prime. We better get refunds or orders fulfilled after seeing this.
