Don't go crazy with the isopropyl though, your skin absorbs it right into your bloodstream and if you overdo it, it can cause heartbeat irregularity, so go gentle with it.
As for shaving down-under, a good Harry's razor in the shower with lots of lather will get you as hairless as anything else will. Despite a recommendation in this thread to not use soap, I recommend plenty of soap and water. Soap kills bacteria, and that's what you want to do. Genital skin being darker than other skin is absolutely completely normal. If you have spots, get them checked out by a doctor.
I bought this electric trimmer a few months ago and its really good. however from my personal experience, no trimmer is nick-proof so just keep that in mind.

I suffer from the same problem. The only thing that truly gets rid of my foot smell is a foot wash. You might be able to find it in your local drugstores, if not you can get it on Amazon. It's called Johnson's Foot Soap. It both soothes your feet and deodorizes them:
